Henry is so right, I’ve said it for years that some of the strikers from the mid-90’s to mid-00’s would have a field day in modern football and the way the rules are so heavily in the favour of the attacking player! Look at Michael Owen, in 7 full seasons with Liverpool he scored 117 goals in 214 appearances but was absolutely kicked viciously week in, week out, had his shirt pulled and so on. … put him in the right team built to get the most out of him today and there would be defenders getting red cards left, right and centre

A nugget of a man, immensely capable and if you saw him on the street wouldn't guess he was a world leading athlete, most importantly he liked the physicality. You wouldn't say he was meant for it, merely he grew up in the game and was molded by its physicality. Erling is literally like a player built in a FIFA game. Wayne was the first player I really hoped we'd sign. I hoped we'd sign Haaland for a bit so he was the 2nd. I'm glad we didn't though. I wouldn't have liked to watch his career go badly at United.
