Not possessions, that's not what Paul was talking about. For Paul, this was true, for Christ showed him specifically, what he must suffer for Christ... But, in general, what He means here is that which we rely on for salvation, for righteousness. Paul's "righteousness" was the law and working his own salvation. Christ showed him all that was useless. Anything that competes for Christ's rule and authority, and His working of salvation. There is no other way to be saved.. Paul's amazing work for righteousness was an utter failure before the LORD. For you, it may well be riches.. The cost is what Christ calls us to.. We die to ourselves (flesh, sin's lust) daily, take up our cross daily. God says that some will suffer poverty, some riches, some the sword, some peace.. We are all vessels of His creation, being poured out daily for His purposes. Be obedient to what He calls you to (hint: it will not contradict the normal reading of the Bible)

@@yelahm4084.. No, God calls us to work honorably, make money and provide for our families.. And we (typically) will have extra to share with those in need... That is our command. Like the Isrealites in Babylon.. They were told to prosper. We are yet in exile, and must be the light and salt for the world to come to know Jesus' good news of salvation.

Following jesus costs nothing, in a sense if h love him so much and do what ur heart(spirit) desires, its only natural u give up worldly things and be more close to God. Becuz in the end any worldly materials will have no real value in us. Its just a status symbol tool for boasting to ithers showoff etc. now does that mean that u throw out all ur possession right now? Without knowing where or what God has called u to do or be? Doing everything on ones decision without knowing what God wants could also lead to destruction. God doesnt want u to be a homeless unless he wants u to be. If he call u to be one and thru that he will do great things, say amen and let him lead u. Otherwise he has other plans for u. Pray and listen to him.

That is where you are wrong. I was saved 1997. God showed me as I stood next to my X mass tree to read Jeremiah 10. I did so and took what I learned directly from my creator to church just to get slapped in my face. I left shortly after that after I had my third back surgery. I have lost jobs for mentioning Christ and condemning Freemasonry only to have another the next day. I had to move 1300 miles before severe judgment comes to America to where God told me to move years ago. Answer to a prayer later and I was off to live in this small town where I thought I would be still. Not even. The whole town was Illuminati High level witchcraft. I have pictures of the most changeling Paranormal ever. AT NIGHT ALSO. It was confirmed here 120 miles away that you do not even stop in that town cuz of the witchcraft there. Now I did have to go there so Christ could deal with them. They lied about the property and huge rock carvings at these water falls depicting every sea and land animal and dinosaurs as well. All in town lied and said natives did it or they didn't know. The land I was on was built over ancient ruins the landlord and neighbor lied to me about. After a few days asking God who did the carvings it was affirmed that only Adam And Eve and much help could have pulled it off. Go figure we have more pyramids here covered by dirt that we are not told about. After asking to many questions and pointing out the 666 carvings on many of the rocks up there I was forced out. So do not figure all is easy street here as I am at war with the highest of evil and I will not relent . I was able to recover two rocks from the yard which was shown to me by God. I dug down and found a rock which had been split on half and another huge one. The rocks depicts carvings which are like Photographs and no matter which way you turn them there is a scene of horror and witchcraft unimaginable.

Following Jesus will cost you EVERYTHING. But everything you had before Christ is useless anyway. Jesus is the treasure in the field, that you sell all you have to buy that field in order to get the treasure. Knowing God, in Christ, is the Pearl of great value, that you sell everything you have in order to obtain. Knowing Christ is worth forfeiting everything else. Knowing Christ makes suffering worth it, if it is for His sake. Jesus is Lord. Maranatha!

@@batmayn Troy Montana is the place. Kootenai Falls are where Rock carvings were. Search and you shall see they say nothing about any carvings what so ever. There was a huge rock in the river above the falls that was carved into a bear. Town wasn't founded until 1891. Thing is I found out before going there that we have many pyramids covered by dirt in the states. So why do they not teach us this in our schools? I ended up buying two maps from a guy on Amazon. Nothing reported up here on the map but I did find one suspect pyramid south of the house there about 5 miles on HWY 56 . I took over a 1000 pictures at night and even a few videos just to see if there was anything going on. You and I cannot see them but for some reason Digital cameras /Video pics them up. I learned this in 2012 when I took many pictures of the spraying in Iowa only to find what appear to be an angel and bad spirits. The angel was like the sun and appeared with a huge red ora around it about a fourth of the size of the sun. In less than the time it takes to snap 3 pics on the Iphone it traveled out to the horizon and back to the sun showing me it is faster than lightning? I dunno but all who seen them then were shocked. Then after having them for years I started looking at the one on my phone and got upset cuz I wanted to know what it was. I threw my phone on the bed where the screen was no sideways and there it was. An Apple logo with a face on it which appears to be very lonely and sad. All know apple is evil and mock the fall but this is crazy. So with that experience in 2012 I figured I might try my luck there? I have pics of lights by the sun during the time when it was so extremely hot. There were many of them and they move in all the pics. They have to be spirits existing outside time /space to be able to overcome the gravity of the sun I was thinking. This is all new to me and so I look for answers everyday. All I do now. One night as I stood on my back porch light started to come over the mountain there in pitch black darkness. Then over the street light appeared this huge orange light. I took several pics of it and found there was a face on it which changed with every picture. Then one night in my truck I sat and took several random pics of this house which sat across the highway as there was suspect activity there. There were 8 pictures out of all that depicted three spirits walking past my truck which appeared like shimmering water. 4 Pic there was a light which was only 10 feet from me then at the house I suspected three light appeared in the driveway. They looked like the movie Wally. They even had a rusty color to the lights . Then next pic they appear in the mans back yard where the train tracks are to illuminate what I call the Death Train. Two stories high is what it appears to be in size and has this look of insanity on it's face with huge dagger like teeth and black rings around its eyes. Below the face there is a set of draw works made out of bones and the door is open. Crazy. All I have shown these pics to look like they just seen the face of death. One said they would have left that night. Not me I just got bored with it after awhile. The property I felt had much bloodshed on it at one time and even suspected there might be people buried there. This is just a scant of the stories from Troy and to think I was only there 10 months. Be at peace but know judgment to America is coming I am sad to say and yet know it has to be that way. Ezekiel 37 now makes sense. And God showed me all are indeed saved from Isiah 65:25=Age of Christ to come. Serpent =Lucifer. Wolf=Fall angel and Lamb=Man. 1 John 2:2 says the same thing. Acts 4:12 God showed me years ago that just as he saved you and I so all Must be saved in Christ. I now can see we are in the judgement of the life lived? God just showed me that back in 2017 over a period of 3 months. Makes sense now. 1 Corinthians 15:52 I like best to see how this all does turn out. Pretty simple actually.
