Agree with this logic except when the park has a quality coaster with notorious downtime. I’ll try to hit that one first.

Same thing with darkoaster at BGW, I'd even go with maverick at CP, flight of Fear at KI, ragin Cajun or batwing at SFA, just for some examples!

Nighthawk and dare devil dive… yes, and yes. Hit both of those on my trip last week and both were the #1 longest waits at their respective parks.

Kraken at SeaWorld always has pretty bad dispatches. When the train hits the final brakes, the other train isn’t done loading.

At Lagoon if I'm trying to hit up all the coasters i tend to go for Primordial first since it's the big new ride, so that and one other are the only ones you'll be waiting over an hour first, from there I'd head over to the bat and just go from there because most Rides don't have a really long line. Colossus is a low priority one though because of they're running two trains it goes through that line quickly. Though i do always try to avoid Frightmares because that's always when people go

I’d hit up La Vibora at Over Texas over Pandemonium. Pandemonium at least has a single rider line. La Vibora’s capacity is absolutely horrid compared to how popular it is.

When going to Kings Dominion, I always try to hit Flight of Fear first because the lines are always super long, especially on hot days

With my home park(Kings Island), I usually start in Action Zone and work my way back. Other than a day where there are a bunch of schools taking a trip, I'm usually able to hit everything with a minimum wait time, other than Flight of Fear and Invertigo.

Early entry rides will have an impact on strategy, including whether you have access to early entry or not. For Carowinds, I try to tell people not to start with Fury, but they can't help thenselves. At new parks, I might do the kiddie coaster first, before it gets a line, and fewer witnesses to the embarrassment.

I went to Kings Dominion just yesterday. Hit Flight of Fear first because I think it has poor capacity. It was so awesome because we were the first there!!

At KI I hit mystic first to let my stomach warm up then go for all the big ones

Laff Trak for sure is a first ride. Even with fast pass that thing ran incredibly slow

My home park is Six Flags St Louis and the new ride (catwoman whip) gets 2 hour wait times during the day because it can only hold 8 people per cart so if you go to this park go straight to catwoman whip.

My philosophy is slithery different for parks that I’ve already gone to, for example, when I last went to cedar point steel vengeance was broke so next time I go I’m riding that first

Rope drop at Six Flags New England is like the running of the bulls to Superman: The Ride. I figure you're doomed there at any time. I go straight to Wicked Cyclone. Maybe that's not an optimal strategy. But damn, Wicked Cyclone. You don't bother optimizing Batman: The Dark Knight in any way because that has a single-rider line. Just use that.

At California's Great America I'd actually recomend to ride Railblazer first unless you really want to ride the wild mouse

I just traveled to cedar point for a Thursday and Friday, and honestly FLP was essential. Would've been a major bummer without it. My thoughts, spend the money if you can't come often.

Replace wild mouse at cedar point with maverick, that line is only 30-45 minutes at most where as maverick can easily be upwards of 3 hours

You can do Cedar Point in one day without fast lane, it just requires great planning and some luck. Also, would it be smarter to hit Top Thrill 2 or Frontier Town first?
