What Coolant should I use in my car?

Coolant. What is it? What does it do? Why are they’re so any different types? Is it safe to mix different brands? How can I tell if it’s gone bad? What happens if I it’s never changed? And what one should I use for my car?

Hello! Congrats for the video!! Im trying to find out what type of coolant is suitable for my Dodge Caliber. The Manuals mentions HOAT (specifically Mopar, but I live in Europe and cant find it). Can you please recommend some HOAT brands that I can find (relatively easy) and buy? Thank you very much!

For draining the radiator I have to take off the bumper and intercooler at my BMW 123d - so by using a pump I change just the content of the coolant reservoir tank at every oil change and call it good...

There is a Yellow anti-freeze by Prestone as well

Prestone, Peak Global Lifetime and 10X, as well as any house brand extended life universal coolant such as Supertech are all perfectly fine to use in any vehicle, for both drain/flush and top-offs. I've been using these in various cars for well over a decade with no issues whatsoever. In many instances, these universal extended life coolants are superior to the OEM coolant.

Can I top off my coolant with the super tech that's a different color than what I have in my 2011 Sonata? I have a green color in my car.

I use a pink coolent in my car and need to top it up can I use any other pink coolent..or do I have to make shur it is suited to my car

Don't dump concentrated and distilled water in tank. First mix well and pour on tank.

Help ASAP pls!! As a recommendation for BMW, I have a green coolant, but in the BMW Series 1 118D (2005) I just bought, I have a liquid that looks like water. Does anyone know how to check if it is a Waterless Coolant or Water?

If you have a slow coolant leak, adding only dimineralized or distilled water is bad.

What if I have an old car with copper radiator? Some say you can't put that because it's not good for copper, some are not good for aliminium and so on. Is it true or just myths and a good antifreeze is fine?
