@@himekomurata72 That's true but some esports games like fortnite can get pretty graphically intensive. If you only play something like valorant, I completely understand but its probably worth like the extra 50$ or so to get the 6600

@@Betweoxwitegan the 6650 xt is a great option and I definitely recommend it but for the CPU I'd go with the 5600 non x over either the 5600x or 3600 because: The 3600 is older, doesn't support pcie gen 4, and might bottleneck your 6650 XT. As for the 5600x, it's barely even an upgrade over the 5600 (the only difference is +200Mhz boost) and it also doesn't come with a cooler. I know usually people don't recommend using the stock cooler, but for the 5600 it does just fine as its also a lot cooler than the 5600x and I know this as I have a 5600 myself and I just used the stock cooler, temps are perfectly fine. So basically, you should get a 6650 XT and a 5600. Hope this helps

It makes the most sense if you don't plan on upgrading your GPU. Otherwise, definitely get the 12400F or the 5600.

I’m just vibing with my powercolor Red Devil 6950XT with 3 fan cooling. Never seen it go above mid 60s, even when power limit increased by the maximum amount of 20 percent, even when I’ve flicked the switch to the overclock vbios, even when I’ve manually overclocked it to 2400mhz minimum clock and 2750mhz maximum core clock. In games it boosts and stays stable at around 2700mhz, performance that beats the RTX 3090 Ti. And especially now that AMD frame generation has been released. Unlike Nvidia frame generation, AMD frame generation works in ANY dx 11/12 game. So basically EVERY SINGLE game released in the last 10 years or so. With AMD frame generation literally doubling fps in every game, I’ve got rtx 4080/4090 performance. Amazing considering I paid only £600 for it. My Legion 7 laptop has the RX 6850M XT and frame gen even works on the mobile RX 6000 series such as my legion 7. I also owned an ASUS Strix G17 Special edition (i9 12950hx, rtx 3080 Ti 175w, 240hz 1440p etc) and again, the Legion 7 I have with 6850M XT beats the 3080 Ti in the g17 se I had. And now with frame gen it’s literally an rtx 4080 laptop performance. Crazy that Nvidia frame gen only works in like 10 fucking games, all brand new games as well. I’ll gladly be enjoying using frame gen on my laptop and desktop on literally any dx 11/12 game, which is every single game that’s came out in like the past 10 years. I don’t have to worry about games adding support for it, it just works

Great assessment. Mine is paired with a Ryzen 3750H and in Cyberpunk I'm definitely badly CPU limited at times. Doom Eternal isn't that CPU heavy so I'm hitting the GPU wall usually. And definitely 1080p is as good as it gets with it unless you play older games.

This guy just said what I was gonna do. I bought my GTX 1650 gddr6 and i3 9100f 3 years ago but 9100f is considered weak nowadays so I bought a 12400f and will save up for either a 6700 xt or 6800 xt.

actually i3 12100f still better price to performance instead of i5 121f and 124f have slightly difference, but since it's gtx 1650, i would recomend to take i3 12100f, and just reminder that i3 12100f still be able paired with rtx 30 series, so yeah.

Go with the 12400F if you plan on upgrading later. LGA-1700 is going to stay pretty relevant while AM4 is on life support. The recent Ryzen 5 5600X3D really doesnt count because it’s a micro center exclusive, basically blocking off 95% of people from buying it.

I was building my first gaming pc at december 22. And oh boi I'm so frustrated of myself, not going deep enough into pc tech stuff. I just went on website with configurator, picked up mostly recomended items and my goal was to keep it under 1.2k $. Now im sitting here mad with 11400f, ddr4 memory and a f****ng 8gb gpu rtx3060ti.

I just picked up a ryzen 5 2600x with a GeForce 1650 with 32gb of corsair vegance ram for $250, it has corsair rgb fans in a razor case. Even came with a fresh install of windows 10 pro. I hops it will do ok. My main gaming pc is a i7 3770k with 16gb of corsair dominator ram with a 1080ti and corsair h100 cooler on a gigabyte motherboard.

My gtx 1650 overheats a lot when I play fps games like battlefield 1. I can only play 720p. When I go up to 1080p it overheats fast. Can't play more than 10 minutes in 1080p. It starts climbing to 90 degrees fast.

vouch i went from a 1650 and a 3200g, moved to a 5600, and had a hell of a better experience with it, now im on a 3060 12gb and 32gb of ram and the 5600 is still a king

Lol, a GTX 1650 is more than enough for me(I have a RTX 4050 in my laptop paired with 64GB of RAM and a i7-13620H) but I need a pretty powerful CPU, I don't play recent titles only retrogaming through emulation and as a C++ programmer compiling code can require a lot of CPU power...

@@harshie004i wouldnt go with 11 or 12th gen i5 if i were you, its a bit overkill. instead, go with either i5-10400F, i3-12100F, or a 3600X. i5-10400 is decent, i use it with my 2060 super but im going to upgrade as i play CPU bound games. the i3 12th gen would be my advice as the motherboard also supports 13th and potentially 14th gen aswell. if you have a bit more money for GPU, an RX 6600 would be a major improvement over the 1650 down the line. (80% faster)

@@iGPR3 i5 11400f is decent for this build aswell as u can upgrate to rtx 3060 in future so the gtx 1650 is a gpu for 1080 low to med gaming in some games to ultra and when u save up some money u can just buy better gpu since the proccesor is good enough to handle higher end gpus
