I uploaded a final part using different products (cuz the products used in this vid made by hair feel so crunchy). Also to clarify I said leave my hair natural because I use to chemically straighten it and now I straighten my hair weekly. I had no intention of offending anyone so to change my words, “ I’m going to leave my hair curly”. Also I used the henna to dye my white hairs only! It worked and it looks like I have red highlights where the white hairs were:)! My hair itself is still black and is staying virgin (color wise)

Because really “people with curly hair” don’t have to do all this lol from the looks of her hair before and after washing , she has curly hair yet doesn’t know how to maintain it or presses and curls it by heat which changes the pattern of the natural curls. I think I have curly hair, my mum does and whenever I let it dry the whole underside is in ringlets but the top goes kinda frizzy and only kinda wavy and I don't know how to make all of it go curly so I brush it a bunch of times while it's drying and that makes it be mostly straight and not as frizzy. I don't use heat so it's probably not super damaged but I don't know how start. My mums hair is textured and will only go straight with heat so she can't help.

@@jordanwashington1854 you are incredibly wrong. if you are uneducated just say it. Finger coiling is a way to bring out the natural curls and making them more defined. If you have straight hair finger coiling will never work. Please dont spread misinformation.
@certainlynotanna8256
@certainlynotanna8256 Жыл бұрын
If a person with straight hair did finger coils it wouldn’t work out for them. This is just a way to maintain your curly hair in sections so that you can avoid the frizz once it dries. You don’t even have to make your coils as small. They could be bigger and then you can just gently ungroup them once they dry. It also helps to keep your curly hair in these groups if you don’t want them to get frizzy while you’re sleeping.

As someone who used henna to make my hair healthier and be more natural…I regretted it less than a month later. I KNEW it would be impossible to get out. I researched a shit ton before doing it. But I forgot I have commitment issues. It’s been over a year now of trying to get it out, it’s green, but my roots are almost to my shoulders so I just have to keep growing it out. DONT DO HENNA UNLESS you’re 100% sure you want to keep that color for atleast 2-3 years. My hair is long, almost to my butt, so I’ve gotta wait a long time.

Thank you for sharing your expierence. Not enough people research before just listening to one myth/lie and going for it. I work in a luxary salon. These stylists have 10-25 years expierence in the industry. Every single one of them turn away every client that comes in with Henna on their hair. It's too much fo liability and regular colour remover doesn't work. It's a bad decision, it's not natural and better. It literally destroys hair and nothing can be done to your hair until you grow it out and cut it off.

There is no color correction for henna. Even attempting this can literally melt people's hair, not just break, MELT. You either use henna alone and that's it, or never use henna ever. Those are your options for haircolor care. The only way to get henna out is by cutting off the hair. I work in a salon with stylists whow have 10-25years of expierence each. They are not dumb at what they do. They will not risk their careers, let alone risk destroying anyone else's hair just because the client regrets using henna. Unfortunately that is just the reality of choosing to use Henna on your hair.

I'm currently in cosmetology school, and seeing the use of hair dye henna makes me want to cry. Yes, it can be considered more natural, but it technically also coats the hair in the product. That can leave behind a residue similar to wax, even after the color fades. So the more you apply it, the thicker the coating would be. If you ever want to do something with chemicals later on, ie, bleach or other colors, you have to wait till you've cut off all the hair that has henna, otherwise you can end up with a bad chemical reaction. Depends on how often it's used, it can even make it difficult to cut hair because of how thick the wax is. Ultimately it's up to you if you wish to continue using henna.

That's not henna, those are random chemical additives that come with many pre-mixed henna products. Henna is a plant, and is thus a single ingredient itself. The inconsistent results only come from the pre-made products being mixed differently every time. I wish people in the industry would be less afraid of henna. If you buy a box of 100% henna powder and use it like it's supposed to be used, you will get the exact same result every time, and you have a red hair dye that strengthens your hair + gives shine/softness, and is 100% permanent. Unlike any other type of red hair dye that will either bleed out fast, or use a damaging developer to maintain permanence. Follow henna up by an indigo powder treatment, and you have reliable and super permanent pitch black hair that covers up gray very well. In my opinion, hair dressers and cosmetologists can really benefit from this information since for some people, especially people with nappy hair, henna is their best solution.

Your hair is so beautiful 😍 WARNING !!! Please be aware of those fake hennas. They're filled with toxins, and can cause severe to fatal allergic reactions in people. I've seen a severe reaction, and sadly I've also seen a fatal one from these dyes. If you've once had a allergic reaction, and you use it again, the next time can be fatal. These dyes should all be taken of the market. However you can have a fatal reaction using it the first time. Only pure green leafed henna is safe. These brown, black and red fake henna are very dangerous. On another note be aware that when you dye with pure clean safe henna you can't bleach or box dye your hair afterwards. You have to wait for the henna hair to grow out, and for virgin hair to grow to bleach or box dye. But please everybody stop using these fake toxic hennas asap.
