Not nearly the store it once was back in the 1970's and 1980's, unfortunately. It was originally a MASSIVE store on 12 ave and Broadway! That store had a downstairs FILLED with back issues. I bought many a book there in my youth. This store? zero back issues.

The YT algorithm recommended this channel. I've binged several videos. I really enjoy your conversational style and banter.. I'm still unclear why some back issues are in $1 or $2 bins but others aren't? That part of collecting is very confusing. I like comics, but comic bookstores are overwhelming. I never understood why they aren't organized by genre. 🤔 That'd be easier to navigate. Ater all, they book stores. But I'm sure that would be sacrilegious to comic book fans. 😅🙃

The comic book back issue prices are determined by demand, if there was nothing memorable / collectible about the issue, they end up in $1 bins a year later. If there was a first appearance of a character who became popular, demand goes up and those books end up on the wall, and not the bins, for lots of money.

Worth going? Live in CT so not that far. Maybe 1.5 hours. I’m just getting into comics because I love the MCU movies. Never picked one up before so where should I start? I am dying to get my hands on the Avengers Endgame Captain America Hot Toys, think it’s worth it? BTW I know there’s lots of questions sorry for that Also nice vid!
