If you are looking for an airport hotel at London Heathrow Airport, check out this London Heathrow hotel review of the Aerotel hotel.
Aerotel London Heathrow is right inside the arrivals hall of terminal 3. It’s less than a 3-minute walk to London Heathrow terminal 3 departures.
We’ve stayed at many airport hotels over the years, but this one is different. At Aerotel you get the great location, new modern surroundings, with stripped back facilities.
If you want a nice meal before bed, then this isn’t the hotel for you. If you want a comfy bed, good bathroom, air-conditioned room for the perfect night’s sleep, oh and a dark room, then this could well be the Heathrow Airport hotel for you!
In this video we take you on a room tour of room 208 at Aerotel London Heathrow.
Whilst this airport hotel may not be as grand as the likes of Hilton, Sofitel or Marriot, it is practical, and windowless!
Don’t let the lack of a restaurant put you off. Upstairs at terminal 3 departures, there is a large pub and restaurant, which serves everything from breakfast through to evening meals and everything in-between.

thanks for your introduction of the London Heathrow Hotel. I have been in that airport twice but never know that there is a hotel like this one.

I believe it opened in 2019. We only found out about it when looking on the airports website as to which hotel brands were near terminal 3 for an upcoming holiday.

Paid £128 May 2023 for 13 hours. No complaints. You soon get over the absence of windows.

Can you tell me how do you pay for the drinks in library room if you wanted any? Do you pay on check or something ?

The fridge is locked the times we’ve been there, with a sign to buy from reception which is down one flight of stairs. The coffee from the machine is free though.

Do you have to stamp your passport to get into the hotel ? I mean do i need a visa ? I have a 15 hours layover and want to rest in a hotel with my family

Whilst it’s located in arrivals of the terminal building, if you are arriving into the UK, it’s after you’ve passed through immigration and security etc. just before you exit the building. So I assume it’s the same requirements as if you were to visit the UK. I’d check with your airline or authorities.

What a con, just gone on their website and rates are £200 higher for overnight than thistl or premier inn a stones throw away

Thanks for your comment and for watching - much appreciated. I think their rates use dynamic pricing and fluctuate somewhat! We've got a cheaper than usual rate for later in February. As you say though, there is plenty of choice nearby, which is great.
