Besides just learning new words and phrases, these videos are a great way for us to step into another country and just see what the people are like. I can imagine footage from these being used in 100 years to show future generations how people talked and what we acted like during our time.

There are several components to how to understand French online . One plan I found which succeeds in merging these is the Mirykal French Plan (look for it on google) definately the most helpful resource that I've found. Look at all the awesome info .

Guys do you think we can have access to all the Easy French transcripts in both languages. It would be so much easier and save a lot of time when we don't have to pause to get the words and the meanings. It is also helpful when we turn off the video, read everything, understand everything and going back to listen to the videos again. I temped to ask but also aware that you are probably very busy. I hope you reply to this comment. I would like that in Easy Italian and Spanish as well. Thank you so very much.

Oge Ginika Coucou! D'abord merci. on peut pas dire "gentil" quand on parle d'un visage, ça ne décrit que des personnes ou peut être des animaux si tu veux. Gentil signifie "nice" dans le sens de "gentle". Et en suite, "à cause de" est plutôt connoté négatif. "j'ai perdu à cause de lui", la façon positive de dire cette phrase est : "j'apprends beaucoup grâce à tes vidéos". Bonne continuation! : )

Hey there, great vid! I just wanted to ask why it is "vous avez fait" sometimes, but then you say "tu as fait" to the child? Is one more formal than the other? What is typically said in France? Vouz avez fait or tu as fait? Thanks again!!

lanesplitter87 "vous avez fait" is more formal, spoken when we're talking in formal occasions or when we're talking to elders. But when talking to kids/youngsters, use 'tu as fait'

Danar BUNTORO Ton français est très bon, on dit faire "sa toilette" au singulier. C'est un mot qui n'est plus extrêmement courant, je dirais qu'on dit se préparer ou se laver. Sinon le reste est parfait! Bravo!

I'm a little curious as to the use of "on" with a singular verb followed by a plural adjective. For example, "on s'est promenés." In the standard French that I learned way back when, "on" is invariably singular, so using a plural adjective just seems wrong -- it should be "on s'est promené" regardless of how many people actually walked. Am I wrong, or is this just a local dialect thing?

Actually I have seen agreement with "on", especially in cases like this, with past participles ("promenés" is the past participle -- the past tense form of the verb "se promener" -- rather than the adjective). I've seen it less often with adjectives (ex: on est AMÉRICAIN), but it's not incorrect, to my knowledge; optional, maybe, but not wrong. I think the idea is that "on", though grammatically singular, can represent plural pronouns such as "we" and "they". In those cases (I usually see it when "on" is used to mean "we"), agreement is acceptable.

Excusez-moi, j’aurais une question à vous poser. Pourquoi à 4:45 l’homme dit « On EST été à Cannes. ». J’ai étudié que le seul auxiliaire pour le verbe « être » est AVOIR. Il aurait dû dire « On A été à Cannes. ». Comment c’est possible ça? Merci d’avance pour votre attention.☺️

The subtitles are not displayed long enough and once again it is too fast a lot of the endings are not pronounced in French so if you don't look at the subtitles it makes it very difficult to understand for example the letter p in beaucoup is not pronounced or the t in ava it and thousands of other words so don't say it is easy French
