Thanks for covering the dream car garage question - it’s a tricky one & for me it changes all the time! One of our 2 cars was on your list funnily enough - XC90 - and I can confirm it is the ultimate family workhorse!!! Great video, loved listening to the Q&A!

I always say to youtubers that the presenter is more important than the cars, so you must be doing something right! Your very personable and your videos are good quality and have good sound so you have everything going for you. I have only just realised that your videos did so well from day one, that really amazing. Must get to the peak district some time and will seek out the coffee shop if we are ever in Buxton.

Keep up the good work! your videos are good. im still driving my e39 530i and also found a 2008 impreza that i love taking on dirt roads and explore. id love your take on some subarus! they are not as refined as the german cars but the handling is nothing like any other car.

Congrats on the channel, my first car was an old triumph herald, cost me £200, my brother had a bluebird, they were known as a taxi drivers 'go to' car

Congratulation JJ on your milestone and back seat JJ as well. Back in 2021 i bought a new mk4 Octavia VRS. That was all touch screen and i hated it. I thought the anti-collision at the front was dangerous so i got shut of it in 2022 and bought a 2015 Volvo S60 D5 and i really like it. Theres no messing around with it, it just does what its suppose to do. Maybe you might want to do a video on it one day in the summer.

For some reason i knew a Volvo estate would get mentioned in this video. Love the 300c also, but sadly with volvo and 300c ULEZ makes the diesels unaffordable

Volvo estates are just the ultimate all-rounders. Helps that my parents had a succession of them (240s) when I was a kid. Shame really, a lot of cool 00's cars will be lost I think because of the zones.

Just had to look Sterling up - that's Rover in the US? We don't see many Rovers about now but there are still at least a few on the roads. Not particularly well loved cars except in enthusiast circles. I quite like them these days

JJ, I’m enjoying some good scotch and watching your videos here in Texas, they’re great, and your car taste is correct, CLS, X-Type, LC500, etc., all great. I also have a great fondness for smaller older Nissans, joyful motoring of my youth (had an Infiniti G20 aka Nissan Primera, and a first gen Nissan Altima).

@@JJonCars I found your Primera video after commenting, and noted in the boot the same repair manual I ordered from the UK at the time. I miss that car, sadly they’re virtually never seen here anymore. I sold it after buying a nearly new E46 (I think the Primera was a better car but I’m sure that’s controversial or only shared by me), though it lived on for many years being driven by my supervisor’s children.
