I see the feeding and varieties...(very cool)....Can I ask how often do you feed your fish? Are they on a schedule? Like 3 X's a day or 5 x's? Does it matter what times of the day you feed them?

Hello my friend... I feed my discus 3x a day, every day, with the exception of Monday that I don't give them any food so they can have a chance to clean out their digestive tract. In the morning before I go to work I give them pellets, in the afternoon when I get home from work I always give them frozen food with vitamins and in the evening at my dinner time I give them flakes.

For a minute I thought you was going to feed them your own home made food. I make my own. Saves me a lot of money. But I also like to give them treats like shrimp.

Hello my friend! 😅 No, not this time yet... I haven't dared to make my own food for the Discus yet, not because of laziness or ignorance, but because I think frozen foods are quite good and with a lot of quality and even affordable. But it must be much more rewarding to make your own food... One day I'll try.

What types of frozen foods do you give to your wild discus?... i have heard from a very experienced seller of wild and Malaysian discus of Aqua discus that wild discus do not require high protein foods like the Malaysian discus...they require low protein. feeds. Also if those frozen foods are BH which you are feeding..do you require to change tank water immediately after giving them BH mix?

I usually give them clams and mussels. I stopped giving them BH precisely because it contains too much protein.

Hello my friend!!! I understand what you are saying and I agree with you. I too would prefer to speak and explain everything by speaking. But although I understand English, I don't have the diction and fluency to do it on video, so I'm more comfortable doing it this way. I know I would be more successful if I did it in another format.
