Horses do not need grain. Ythey need good vitamins good clean hay an the best time for grass is 3 am to 9am then back in the barn lot with freedom to be in big pen with 2 flakes good weed frre bromw or Timothy are my favorite but the am out at 3 to 4 am an back in dry lot is important if not u will founder yyour horsescan with grain samevthing or could colic.
