Shaolin vegetarian diet is much much healthier than Indian vegetarian diet though. Indian still use a lot of seed oils.

@@butterfingers60 India has very high levels of diabetes, low testosterone levels and weak bone density. Clearly the Vegetarian diet being implemented is not working.

The original human diet was vegetarian. Meat was only picked up as a food source way back, because there was no crops. Now that we have abundance in food we should really all be vegetarian or vegan it's just basic morals.

Meat since the beginning of time has been eaten, and being a vegan kills more animals then being either normal or vegetarian

Eating animals wouldn’t make you a killer. Killing is a decision you make and not imposed on you. The Grand Creator permitted it and it is where we get most of our need of protein.

I've heard that vegetarian diet isn't a part of the shaolin temple. Could it be that it is allowed in the north temple to eat meat and forbidden in the south temple or something like that? Greetings
