While out sword fishing we had a 16 lb blackfin tuna eat our sword bait! This tuna clearly had eyes bigger than his stomach 👀 With no luck on the swordfish we were thankful to take some meat home for dinner! Back at the dock we filleted this tuna and dissected it to see what it's diet consisted of 🍣

Nice blackfin! There's a saying" better to be lucky than good".Then again " luck is when preparation meets opportunity". Tightlines! Good going hanging on to dinner. Live squid is what we use to catch 200# ahi at night on handlines.

Love your videos 😍 Did you guys always enjoy tuna fishing or did that happen later? I hated doing or even seeing gaffing or live-baiting when I was smaller, and I never even kept fish! Tuna were the worst because they flailed around and bled so much lol. It only changed after I toughened up and tasted a trout I caught 😋

Nice video keep it up. I always have a full tank of fuel and make sure the radar is working so I can run around the storms and not through them.
