Didnt know you speak duck mark 😅😂 Its not a good sign when Mallard ducks would rather drink from the puddle then the pond - shows that water is tainted... probably by what's next to it ( the petrol garage and the factory )... when you see lots a male mallards like that it means that they have probably drowned the females when breeding. the male holds the females head underwater as they breed, as one male jumps off another jumps on and unfortunately your left with no females left... bit grim but its nature! oh and that little bird you saw was a Moorhen... Notice the pond was void of weed as well which is another sign of pollutants x by the way that security guard was really nice! a nice respectful man 👌
