I would say 'Gregg's' is a fast food bakery if you know what I mean? Like it sells bakery items, plus potato wedges and pizza slices, pasties, plus hot drinks etc.... Whereas most traditional bakeries are just cakes, bread, muffins and cold patisserie items, the occasional made to order sandwich. So I would argue that it does count as a fast food chain.

Funny to think about a vegetarian burger on the saver menu considering most places can't even put a vegan option on the menu without taking the vegetarian one off.

Love it when all the family are digging into the goodies and giving their own analysis too, wonderful to see a family so passionate about food and also the way you all get on so well together and come together as a family in the evenings, so cute ❤️

Greggs employee here! We used to be ‘Greggs The Bakers’ as we sold fresh bread, crumpets, rolls and such back in the day but in the last 5 years we’ve moved away from that and it’s very rare to find a Greggs that still sells bread and we do consider ourselves a fast food chain haha!

Here in the U.S. KFC is one of the pricier fast food locations, so it doesn’t surprise me that there was nothing under a pound in the suburbs of London 😂 they have things like a meal for $5-6 dollars here in California, but nothing close to a dollar!

I worked at kfc for a while until a few weeks ago and all the side options used to be 99p but they hicked the price up to £1.29 (in my shop) a bit back. The smaller items are £1.49. The best value items are definitely the snack boxes, lunch box and megabox for how much you get for the price

I looooooove the meal deals in the UK, especially the M&S ones, the sandwiches are the best of all of them. I live in Belgium, and I always take my lunch with me, I don't like/trust any eating out options for lunch 🙃(although I do like a few options at Exki, but they have very few stores). And I never eat fastfood like McDonalds or Burger King, too greasy and gives me stomach ache 😅
