when I was a kid (late 70s) I'd walk to the match, 50p to get into the boy's pen in the corner of the kop. Basic almost mediaeval conditions, full of local lads like myself who loved the club. The atmosphere was intense and intimidating and unforgettable. How times have changed... 😢 Don't miss the hooliganism but do miss the soul that's left the place.

there are varying "levels" of hospitality ticket, from offsite venues with a corner seat, to silver service/main stand centre seat as was here, and prices are determined by the opposition so tickets vary between £300 and over £1000

You'll have to phone up regularly and see if there is hospitality (cancellations) available££££. There are no paper tickets anymore, its all done electronically through your smartphone.

Hospitality is the best way to see games. Special access, vip service, padded seats, and free food. When I go to MLS games I get hospitality seats. It isn't anywhere near expensive, unless Messi is coming to town. The inflated ticket prices for Inter Miami games last year were insane. For the most part, I think the price for what you get is well worth it.

Football is a traditionally working class sport. The best way to see the game is in with the proper fans. Hospitality is a necessary evil, and a symptom of the gentrificatrion and sanitation of football into the polished "product" it is today, at the expense of the fans who made the sport and this club what it is. In an ideal world hospitality would be fucked off entirely. The fact his mate had a half-n-half scarf says it all.
