Dear ABTS Training I am so glad to be connected with you, I would like to import from China to Bangladesh, but I am totally new in this and sometimes calculate all costing of import cost but bigest problem is supplier give us FOB price a long with when I want to know about container cargo fright fare. Their freight charge is not buyer friendly that is great hinders in costing of import cost. Could you give a solution how can I get reasonable and good rate of cargo container. Thanks Sahin Sarker

Hello! That's great to hear that you want to start your own business. The course I can recommend is our "Export Documentation and Procedure" course which will give you an excellent foundation and the practical knowledge you'll need (www.abtslogistics.co.uk/full-syllabus/). Hi Rene, thank you for your question. I think you are talking bout the role of a commission agent or a Stockist agent. Sorry but I am not aware of any articular publication which may help you. There is a lot of info about these agents on KZfaq or just google in. We will be offering a on line course abut trading as a commission/stockist agent in he new year 2021. Do freight forwarders handle shipping of agricultural products and fuel?

Hi Kwaku, yes. A good freight forwarder should have enough in depth knowledge to handle any cargo.

The best advice I can give is the do a Google search for freight forwarders in your area. I don’t have any that I can personally recommend.
