Biomedical Science graduate Lauren Upston is passionate about her job working in microbiology as a Medical Scientist.

I'm a microbiologist I worked 12 years in a hospital and I had the opportunity to work in veterinarian microbiology too. So now I live in USA and I'm in a way to be a medical microbiology here too👍

Bad practice with the blood culture bottle. She has inoculated her plates, and re-sheathed the needle on the bottle. You MUST NEVER re-sheath a needle, you must always discard that sharp straight into a sharps bin.
