Actually fun fact, you sacrifice current for electromotive force, so in truth the current draw is not very high at all.

@@astralaesthetic8750 not very high at all? TC is probably most unefficient type of transformator, my guess is about 4kW maybe more on this one..

The current draw isn't what makes this not take much power. It's the fact that it doesn't run for very long. Someone did the math on their 25kw coil, and the power coat ended up somewhere around $0.20.

@@leandrotami You can calculate how much power anything electrical uses, by knowing the voltage, the current, and the cost per kilowatt hour for electricity that you pay (which is on your electric bill). If you run a power outlet in your house at the maximum power it can continuously output (which is nowhere near what he uses in any of his videos), it would be on the order of 25 cents an hour. None of his demonstrations use anything on that scale.

If he built it just like Tesla did, then the electricity it's emitting is close to harmless. That was one of Tesla's points in trying to make a big deal about it. You would get mild burns or discomfort in the region in which it touched you. But this is in no way harmful, unless you are trying to hug it.

It has to do with the type of electric current it is, it is an AC voltage type. We use predominantly DC voltage. DC voltage is dangerous.

Man he had a lot of revolutionary things that he didn't want rest of us to have because we would use them for evil. Our race first has to evolve mentally befor we evolve technologically. Biggest testimony to that is that Tesla died in poverty barley having money for his research, he was a planetary good, he litteraly deserved unlimited resources from the whole Earth, regardless of who owns what and all his invention should've been planetary goods as well, but we valued our monetary system too much, so that rich can remain rich and in control, I'm not saying that they have too much, I'm saying that everybody should be "wealthy"
