Not to mention that we are consulting with multiple clients at the same time, preparing and trying to receive all there information to make there day as perfect as we can. Keeping up with our gear, making sure it is clean and operating properly. Most people don’t see any of the behind the scenes, they only see us playing music. Great video. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

Hi what program are you using to interact with clients? Djep? Something else?

I do not use djep. That’s a little to complex. I wanted simple that my client can work with without any learning. It’s called dubsado

Apologies another question and comment. This video was very informative to me. I'm an older guy dabbling into doing this as a part time gig. You do your lighting via DMX. Is this something you van run by yourself as a solo operator or complex enough that you need a 2nd person? Trying to make it easy on myself lol

No worries. I’m glad to help. This is something possible to be done as a solo op. I bring an assistant though for this, customer service, setup/tear down, etc. with airstream DMX bridge you pre program the lights at home so when I comes to showtime you’re only pushing one button

I created all my stuff. My website is made through wix. It’s maybe $300 a year, not bad. What were your thoughts on my website? Good/bad?

@@DjTravisNey The portal to me was pretty sweet. I use Honeybook/Squarespace so I'm trying to think of upgrading my site to incorporate HB, but I don't think it can. Overall your site is good man... I hope next year expands your company. This year was crazy but I think it was a year for us to regroup and get better. I'll be watching hoping for the best. Your channel is seriously underrated.
