he doesn’t seem to love it he seems to be emotionally hurt that his buddies like Trae and PG in the NBA get unfair slander and guys like CP3 and Bron get off Scott free when they choke and have an army to defend them with irrelevant and stretched points. BEV is being real. He just isn’t a robotic person

@@cameronfowler2670 Dude I agree with 90% but Bron gets a lot of Slander from everyone you hear a name called Skip Bayless!? He slanders bron for winning game 7s! Also when AD plays like trash or gets hurt people bash on Bron's leadership! When the team plays like hot garbage they catch hold of Bron's neck and question his abilities to lead the team! I respectufully disagree with your opinion on people not slandering Bron!

@@amitpai101 many people slander him but even more people suck him so it balances. A lot of people who slander him have great points initially and then follow it up with wreckless hate. Lebron is a bad finals resume other than individual stats and it’s looked over often as everyone considers him at the worst top 5 players ever (which I think is fair). But he has a lot of people who pretend he is perfect when he does in fact have many leadership flaws. His fans have a fake aura that he can do no wrong which is unrealistic. Lebron gets more hate and love. PG and Trae get mostly hate when they drop the ball AT ALLLLL. Bev is just making the point about CP3 because it’s obvious he isn’t a top 3 pg ever and people pretend he is because the media LOVES CP

Well, I’d guess that at least one of the reasons Chris Paul doesn’t get as much criticism as other stars is because he’s 37 years old. The expectations were increased because of how well he’s played despite being 35 and 36, but generally the fans and media aren’t going for focus their ire and heat on 37 year old players lol People are not berating Carmelo Anthony or Dwight Howard for the Lakers’ season. Nobody is focusing their criticism on Paul Millsap or Lamarcus Aldridge or even Mike Conley. Chris Paul played poorly in this series. But there’s no reason to expect people to “keep that same energy” for criticizing 25-28yo stars and apply it to a 37yo Chris Paul.

Man it's very hard to win a championship for any player. Only 11% of players go on to win an nba championship, whether it's how well you played, health, effort, work, luck, whatever. It's hard. It's not the end of CP3's career, it's still possible to win a championship both as player and/or maybe one day as a coach or executive. Not having a championship doesn't discredit his impact on and off the court as one of the greats. Sure it looks better but it doesn't take away from his legacy. He didn't have to join super teams to bring his teams deep into the playoffs or to an nba final.

I really dislike totalizing statements like if CP3 is one of your top two players you can't win a championship. Basketball is so much more random than people like to think. They lost 4-2 in the finals, the last three games decided by 6, 4, and 7 points. You get one tweaked ankle, or a few shots from the Bucks not falling, the narrative is completely different for CP3. I know we all like to debate, and certainly results matter, but especially when it comes to ranking stars, there's so many variables that swing games, series, and seasons.

CP isn’t the kinda dude who can fully take over a game, and at 37 his conditioning is not good enough to put in serious minutes through an entire series if he’s gotta play defense. If they were gonna win this series they needed Devin Booker to show up and take over like a Tatum can or like Luka did. That’s what they get especially when they should have rested their stars late in the regular season instead of playin old man Chris & others at the very end of the season just to keep the lakers out of the play in. Humble 🥧 to the face lol

After so many seasons both the players and organizations should finally come to this realization - though CP3 is a GREAT player, he cannot be THE PLAYER.

Yea he is right somewhat because I know CP3 got killed for blowing that 3-1 lead and he got killed for getting hurt ND not playing that game 7. But Patrick Beverley reason I can't take u seriously one your beef with CP3 also u said James Harden deserves the max. Also didn't you come up short in playoffs games u didn't play your best defensively and you said you the best in the world but got mopped
