Finally someone who spotted Asami’s talent at first sight. And he is right. The Bruce Dickinson inspired singing style is obvious in Holy War. But not many reactors get it at first listen.

He's a professional singer and musician, so he knows an amazing talent and vocalist in the form of Asami when he sees one. And that was the first aspect he immediately and enthusiastically pointed out at the end of the song.

He picked up Asami's talent and vocal style right off the bat. It's easy to get overwhelmed by the talents of everyone else in the band. Also as an fyi: anytime you want to show someone Holy War, the 2021 version is pretty awesome too. It's under lockdown, so crowd engagement and the breakdown isn't as good, but there are great moments in it. What's amazing is it sounds almost exactly the same, but in the squeals and things you can hear some slight differences. They're so perfect live it is unreal. My favorite part is Midori is doing her solo and Miyako is standing there next to her playing, but not watching what she is doing - she's just watching Midori's solo lol. Interesting to hear a professional rock singer speak so highly of Asami's singing. When people criticise Asami, it usually isn't for her "singing" per se, rather its for her imperfect English enunciation. But if you look beyond her mastery of the English language, and her Japanese accent, she really has a great voice for Power Metal.
