Hi my interview was in April citizenship told I’ll get letter within 120days nothing yet no update on website when I called they told me it’s in la office now take 18.5 months now 18 months no update any worries no letter yet

I would start by making an inquiry or sending a letter to your local field office.

It means that it is waiting for review by an office at that location.

Hello, when I check my online case status ( I-539 )it’s showing “fingerprint has been taken on 26 journey 2023 “ can you tell me how long can it will take to get answer from Uscis ? Or my case is still not start to reviewing by Uscis yet ? Please please answer me 🙏

They can have a very long processing time. Please go check your time by googling USCIS processing times.

My brother file petition for me under f4 catogery last month. I got i797c notice of action with IOE REFERENCE NUMBER which is electronically submitted petition. At the bottom left of the letter it is mentioned california service centre. My question is Will IOE REFERENCE NUMBER has any affect on the process of the petition

Hi, I am working for a one of the top national banks and I m on H1B visa. Recently my employer filed for my H1B visa extension in premium processing and soon after receiving the receipt, the status has been showing as ‘Case is actively being reviewed’ .. The 15 day premium processing clock will end by tomorrow. Does premium processing SLA does apply for cases with this status ? What are my options now if I don’t hear from uscis in next 2 days ? Pls help

You should receive a response within the 15 day period. If you do not then the employer may request the $2500 fee back from USCIS.

Hi, I filed I-485, and I-765 for my wife on September 2022, she gave her biometrics on October 4, 2022, and we were asked for RFE on Jan 2023 and we submitted the required docs as well, we are still waiting and waiting, as USCIS says the case is actively being reviewed again, how long will it take?

It just goes back into normal processing times. I would not put too much stock in the "active" part of that statement.

Hi! i had received a message from USCIS and here it is what it was said: "On january 14 2020,we received your correspondence for form I-130,Petition for Alien Relative.We are reviewing your correspondence and will send you a notice if we need something from you." What does it mean because till today 2024,i didn't receive any updates from uscis? so please explain this message to me.Thanks🙏

My i485 got actively reviewed after biometrics. And 6 months later yesterday mi i130 said actively being reviewed I hope is a good sign

Unfortunately you will have to wait for the new EAD to arrive. The USCIS did not give an automatic extension for that EAD category.

If my case says "being actively reviewed" and I keep getting emails saying "We have taken an action on your case," does that mean there is a real officer looking at my case? After the first 5 messages, I checked and saw the application receipt and biometrics reuse notification. But I got 2 more emails after that and nothing was changed on my account. Wondering what could be going on here. Is a person looking at my case or is USCIS just sending it out by error?

Same thing I've received an email saying We have taken an action on your case, check your case status. But when i log in on my USCIS account to check the case status nothing shows.

Look at the top right-hand corner of it you will see the decision. A friend of mine did and then she say the little icon said closed.. a few days later they sent her a denial letter stating why it was denied that was last month.. when your case gets approved the "actively being reviewed' will change to "approved" when it get denied the will not change it you have to look in the top right corner

@Iris Wang right where it say case status, look a little below it and you will see it on the right or left-hand corner.. there should be something there.. that's where we found it..
