I am curous as to what is the primary motivator to join the RA, RN, RAF or RAMC. In the US, most of us joined because of the GI bill and the desire to go university debt free. To do something more with their lives, to see the world to be the best in the world if you are planning on joining the marines. @@snowyowl7413 If that is your motivation, its a good one! Assuming the UK military is much like the US, you have the chance to do things every day that is different and only happen in the military. No lie , some will be bad. Some will be amazing, but i guarantee, its not a 9 to 5. I was a USAF medic myself. My advice? listen to every vet you can. Some will tell you its awful. Some will tell you they had good experiences. Probably both are true, but the most important thing is to go in with eyes open.

There really are some negative stay at home keyboard warriors on here. Some people need to get a grip & stop slating others for doing something with their lives!! My nephew is in this as a new recruit. He went in cooking pizzas on irons and a bit wet behind the ears but he’s a completely different lad now. He is doing the javelin now and doing well, we’re all very proud of him!!!

11 EOD Regt RLC ….Didcot……Oxon. They have a transgender Warrant Officer class 2. I’ve met it once as well, at a recruiting fair. The teenagers it was talking to were all laughing and sneering at it.

I don't know how any of them pass all their eyes was literally touching the scope of there guns, black eye central You can get in the army unless you have medical conditions or any type of physical condition that might set your part or if you're not the right hight

What I love ❤ the most is how the staff are caring and compassionate towards the young lads. Equality, diversity and compassion before anything! Love it❤😀 I hope they pay the lads good money too.

No, it shouldn't be before anything, defence of the nation should be before anything. Wtf has diversity and equality got to do with the military? And if by diversity you mean blocking white people from joining but letting any other person in then may I remind you that that is racist.
