We just bought a Samsung 85 inches TV yesterday. It was so hard to carry it upstairs. Upon turning on, there are black streaks at the top of the screen. I hope we get refunded. So probably the screen was damaged when we were carrying upstairs.

accidentally chucked my balisong knife onto my monitor while i was practicing some tricks. My main monitor pretty much looks like this right now lol ( before the carnage ). welp imma need to save up some cash in 2 months or so and then ill have a new main monitor by then. Also it seems that the outer screen wasnt damaged, the sheer impact of the metal on my balisong damaged the ips display from within. such a small incident led to such a devastating catastrophe. monitors really are that fragile

Not good enough. Should be able to sustain stronger impacts. My 5 year old accidentally threw the remote on it while playing 3 feet apart from it. Gone.

How did it break initially?

About 13 or so yrs ago my parents Samsung 48 inch swivel about 4+ inch thick,, got pounded hard & deep ? I turned it on, just to see what I'd look like,,so l figured it's ruined,, so l tapped around broke the picture,some more,, not knowing something was flowing out of the heat vent in top back,, suddenly I felt a microscopic prickly burn all over exposed skin eye's nose mouth arms - & it just increased ,,l had some duct tape & did like tapped like you do fiberglass,face all over,then soap & goop- cold water,l tried washing clothes & dog's bed cover - laundry mat,,l put the dog cover back on & let my clothes wait a while,not realizing it wasn't gone,l was still burning, l put on my jeans & legs started instantly,,tossed trashed dog pillow, l felt it come out of me a few times// restroom!! So I'm still burning on my lips, tongue, eyes,l wheeze,& my whole stomach on thru,, we thought gallium arsenide,l know they had a fire retardant,that is harmful over time,the dog died not long afterwards,,went to the ER,but got stuff for poison Ivey,l had called poison control, some reason they didn't know,,but l found out they have to know everything - didn't matter, nothing can make it go away/ miracle,,but when l see people breaking TV's ?? Probably 2008 48 inch Samsung,,now they say leave the room, & clean up in a hazmat outfit & tear up carpet, throw out furniture & clean,, I'm just saying,, seems like a peel off sticker☠️,l did read The U.S. bought the most of all the 🌎 from China,, ole well,, keep your kid's clear& elders, have a great life whomever 👍👋
