Because only Qatar has allegedly bribed FIFA, right? Get off your high horse. David Cameron himself said that Russia didn't get to host the Cup in 2018 without resorting to corrupt methods. It's a game they all play. Its just that when Qatar followed their rules and won, they threw a hissy fit.

@@jessejames9149 definitely they cant buy the champions league but i think you should appreciate the fact that they were able to turn around psg and make them win league titles. Leon was the largest club in france but they turned psg into a global icon through strategic investments. Recently, Qatar won Asia Cup through talent because they clearly invested in world class facilities and their players and valued sports in their country. Qatar has a lot of money but they invest it wisely and employ the best people to boost the value of their investment. They don't recklessly spend it.

Look at what happened to German companies in USA during WW1 or to the lands owned by the Arab communities in Singapore after its independence.
