What Does Shame Say?

Күн бұрынI want to help you better identify the voice of shame in your life. Shame has a way of getting into our thoughts, giving us perspectives that disconnect us from love, grace and freedom.
There are many shame based thoughts I have had to face. Here are ten of them.
God's love and grace are available today, to lead you into freedom. But shame will use these very subtle thoughts to keep you bound and held back. I pray that illumination will come to your heart and freedom will open.

"Why did you make me this way and give no room for it" I burst into tears when you said this. You said something Ive said countless times to God, but never had anyone who related to it. Thank you. I trust there is a purpose for how God is limiting me right now. I realise up until now (age 25) life has been a long season of suffering. Suffering because of various experiences and suffering because the experiences limited me and my potential. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your work. You are the only person who has ever understood me. I am on the path of healing.. Praise the Lord!

Sooo good, it's such a blessing how God set you free and how you teach this deep stuff!! It helps so much cause you gone through all this shame stuff and you know what helps you. So important to go deep, can't hear it anymore when preachers tell hurting people "just forgive"- they know nothing
