He’s not going to NY he’s in California and has decided not to do film school and is working with the top Emmy winning producers there

Dimash is 28 right now (going to be 29 at the end of the month). Yes the fans are passionate and some can’t hear any criticism of Dimash, but keep being true to yourself in your reactions. An honest reaction is much better than a fake one.

He really is the best singer in the world. I would say ever. He's got several styles. Check 'em all out!

Dimash did have a scholarship to study film directing at the LA branch of a New York school but he decided to focus on his music and gave the scholarship to another person. He's been living in LA for the past month or more and I think I heard him say he was working on music for a Jackie Chan movie. He just had a concert in Armenia last Saturday and this Saturday he has one in Turkey. In June he has one in Malaysia. The tour said it will include 20 countries but I'm not sure which ones or when they'll be. Thanks again for doing a Dimash reaction with a friend! Dimash rejected the scholarship to study in LA because he wants to be focused in his carreer as singer. However, Dimash already has a doctorate in Musicology and he directed a couple of his own MV that’s the reason filming and directing is interesting for him. He is very smart and his background in music started at the age of 5 and I would said earlier. ❤️🎤🌹👏👏👏👏👏

Hi again. It's fun to see new folk experience the wow factor. That said, a couple things I think you should know: 1. He came to the US but decided not to start the New York Film Academy course, letting another Kazakh student do it instead, and is currently doing concerts in Asia. That said, he hooked up with some US movie soundtrack composers (eg the one who scored Titanic) and is supposedly collaborating with them on some new music. 2. For sharing with friends who already know a thing or two about singing, there's a much better song/video you could share than SOS, which is really more for folk who aren't that knowledgeable about singing. The better song/video is the Olimpico on Igor Krutoy's channel. (Igor composed Olimpico for Dimash.) As with this SOS video, Igor doesn't block use of the Olimpico on his channel. I say Olimpico is better because A) It really showcases Dimash's lower registers, which SOS essentially ignores, as well as his extreme upper range just like SOS, plus B) It's more interesting as an unusual piece genre and arrangement wise, and C) It's a spectacular live concert performance illustrative of both his team and production company's capabilities to put on a great show and his own showmanship. Also you can and should switch on the English captions too, because the lyrics are such an irresistibly powerful and inspiring message.

You should listen to him sing The Show Must Go On, by Queen! And he sings All By Myself. Love is like a Dream is beautiful. He does a lot of fry with his voice in the beginning in that one. Screaming Idol is where he raps in that song. He also sings Hello, by Lionel Ritchie, and of coarse he does it his way. Go to the singer for most of these songs except for Love is Like A Dream and Screaming Idol. Please listen to these songs, they are amazing!

To answer your and your guest's question, he owns a production company and his government has granted him a scholarship to the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles which will last for one year. I don't think he has started yet as he is currently making some tours in Europe. It was a great reaction, gentlemen!

He is my favorite together with metal singer Dan Vasc. Please listen to Dan singing Amazing grace. You cannot belief he is a metal singer. But like Dimash he is classically trained.

Dimash backed out of film school. 😕 Right now, he's touring and temp-living in L.A. while working on new music. He was introduced to composer/arranger/record producer and music executive, David Foster....so i hope SOMETHING came out of that. (I'm sure it did.)
