I am a nursing student and have dissected a few cats for my Anatomy & Physiology classes. For our cats, they were pets that were at the end of their life for various reasons (illness, etc) and were lovingly donated to science and to educate. I hope that makes someone feel a lil better ab it

There is no definitive research on the safety of candles, but most of it suggests there is really nothing to worry about. Candles with lead-core wicks were dangerous and were banned in 2003.

I like how you guys were talking about the cat situation. Try being in a anatomy lab for a whole semester with three bodies, one of them was a half body. The images and smells haunt me at night. But it was the most interesting anatomy class I ever had.

Link for your cat! Watch for anything tinsel, we had to extract a piece that sliced up our cats insides and cost a pretty penny. Kept the tinsel in a vial as an ornament since it cost so much 😂

That 3rd floor place in key west that Rhett is talking about is called The Bull. It's a rooftop "bar" where nudity is allowed. There's shrubs all around the perimeter to block the view from the street. Never been up there but everytime I'm in key west I'm curious about it.

Link! For cats at Christmas, be careful with tinsel and garland! I had a friend who’s cat ate a bunch of garland and had to go to the vet. The vet took the cat away because ‘the house wasn’t suitable for cats’. Very sad story.

Ah yes I also remember in our biology lab we have to dissect cats and learn it. I can confirm that the smell of formaldehyde wasn't pleasant. It makes me tear up that I had to go outside the lab once in awhile.

If ya'll like weird things then you should watch a show called Oddities. It takes place in New York somewhere and you get to see just what people buy and collect! Not sure what channel it was on but damn it was good, taxidermy, straight jackets. articulated animals, just some good stuff and weird ass people!
