You guys have to remember that they also didn’t have time to prep and safety measures weren’t prioritized as much back then. These guys were literally risking their life with the amount of limited time and budget they had for the movies they were in during that time.

I can only think of Shanghai Knights, sequel to Shanghai Noon. Donnie played one of the villains. Two villains for the two heroes played by Jackie and Owen Wilson.

This is how they managed to create so many good movies for so many years: Lots of creativity, improvisation and their deep martial arts knowledge allowed them to basically create various fight choreographies with the flow, whilst maintaining the film's theme and keeping the plot in mind.

That is why their films are so great. Asian film industry make the most out of what they have which makes them work more efficiently. It's why Jackie's movies are so well coordinated. It's why Americans working with the film industry sometimes are shocked because they get to it and Americans are more relaxed.

The one who ooze the same amount of Charisma as Jackie are his brothers, Yuen Biao and Sammo Hung. Sammo had some success in Hollywood but Yuen Biao had a really hard time in his english, but still very successful in asia.

Donnie Yen has always been a legend... idk why the rest of the USA didn't recognize him the way we did Jackie chan or Jet Li... truth be told, Donnie Yen is a bigger superstar in China now than Bruce was in his time I loved Donnie yen since I saw Iron Monkey years before it was released in theatres in the USA... they released it here after Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon was a big success.

I think he is bigger than Jet Li now at least. He's on Star Wars and John Wick and XXX. Another thing is....Donnie can do breakdance and play classical piano. No kidding. He plays it on some entertainment shows in China or Taiwan and also in one of his HK movie.

I remember him in everything... I was a Donnie yen fan for close to 10 years before that. Iron Monkey was one my favorites i had it for like 7 years before it was released in the USA.

He was the action choreographer in Blade 2. He taught Wesley Snipe his signature back kick, which sort of push in a straigt horizontal direction. You can see it in his older HK Tv drama and movies. I was a fan of Donnie since his first TVB Drama as some hot headed cop. Immediately i knew this guy has great potential then.

Neither sam or Denzel are african.sam looks like a kitawah indian man from the laye 1800s/early 1900s and denzel belongs to a north eastern indian tribe. May be lenape(jersey)

We all know the safety rules are for people who are trying something for the first few times, right? After learning what Donnie and Jackie learned. Yep, any movies outside of the Hollywood systems, hasn't any sufficient budgets, hell a Hollywood TV episode has more production budgets than an entire HK movie! They'd shoot an entire movie in 45 days maximum.
