Elvis never forgot where he came from. He went from being born in a one room home to rising to be the second most popular man to walk the planet first being Jesus Christ. His mother raised a wonderful man. Thank you for this story.

Well , Elivs was right . I have seen people with plenty of book sense and plenty of people with common sense . It's just the way God made us all .We were raised not to make fun of people or think that we were better than anyone else too . I raised my kids to be the same way . I'm sure those good morals came from Elivs' Mama and Daddy too . Joey , you're right too ! It's always fun to laugh and cut up . Can't go around pouting all the time . Billy, You and Your Family are so special and I can tell how much you all cared for Elvis. I appreciate that you, and Jo were there for Elvis until the end. That is one thing that I love most about Elvis is that he was so polite in his interviews and that he was sympathetic of others and never looked down on those who had less. I can tell that you all never let it change any of you and It is a wonderful thing that you all lived at Graceland and were so close to Elvis but never let it change you. It is a very special thing to stay humble and not let things change you. I really appreciate you all sharing your personal memories of Elvis with us who still love him so. I am happy that you all are keeping his memory alive.. God Bless You All.

Very good. I've always thought it's so great how he kept his courtesy and politeness towards others regardless of his fame. Fundamentally he must have been the modest southern boy at heart. On the other hand his temper must have been one of the kind too! ,😊 Looking forward to hearing more about that later. It's absolutely amazing what you have gone through with him, Billy. And Jo too. Thanks again for sharing.,🤩

Elvis's temper tantrums were notorious and as Billy confirmed with his being fired, no one was exempt lol. From my understanding though, if Elvis blew up and then was found to be in the wrong, he would apologize for his mistake, that shows a humble and honest person.

Thank you so much for making these videos and sharing your personal memories. My daughter has loved Elvis since she was 8 & saw a video of the song Jailhouse Rock (she is 16 now). In Sept 2017, we all headed from FL to Memphis to escape the hurricane and we took her to Graceland. For some reason I can't articulate, since we left there, I have been reading and watching everything I can about him. My daughter is like, "hey, I loved him first." Haha After many books and videos, I still can't explain what makes him so incredibly fascinating.... I think it's because no one else ever had whatever it is that God gave him. 😊 Truly, he seems to have been a unique & kind hearted person who wasn't perfect (how to know he was human) that God only made one of and we were lucky he shared his talent with us. A funny thing happens, though, when you read enough books about Elvis -- you see there were some people there with him through it all and come to feel they and a few others were the most important pieces of him. Billy and family are at the top of that list. So, it's incredible to get to hear your stories from your perspective. I was hoping there was a book out there by you, but honestly this is even better. To get to hear directly from you. You are a beautiful family! Please know the time you're taking to do this is immeasurably appreciated. Speaking of books, I'm so sorry that I just wrote one with this run on reply.....God bless you always, Kristi Lade

I have another question. I have heard many times that Elvis would worry that he would be forgotten. Would he be pleased or humbled about how much he is still celebrated? And how would he have felt about how Lisa Marie has even been in the spotlight so much as she seems to prefer her privacy much more?

Billy, do you and your wife Jo ever get to spend time with Lisa and her Kids? Do they ever want to visit with your family seeing as Lisa was like a niece to you? Can you show pictures (Danny&Joey), of when you were growing up? I'll bet you guys were little hippies back in the 70's? I'm 54 years old (I think the same age as Danny) and in the 70's my hair was like one of the members of Credence Clearwater Revival!!! I think everybody was a hippie by 1975. I would think that your mom and dad would be swamped with requests for interviews about elvis???

Thank you for all your videos. I have often pondered what this attraction is to Elvis after all of these years. No matter what kind of gifts and charisma a person has, it's really doesn't seem normal for people all of the world to be so enamored by one person, especially 45 years after his death. When I was praying the other day, I asked God about this. I heard Him say so clearly, "he was a king while he was here because he had so much of The King in him." Elvis surely seemed to definitely be filled with the Holy Spirit. However, I truly believe he was more than just a human being. There was something extraordinary about him. Perhaps he was an evolved old soul, perhaps he was an angel in human form that had all the constraints of flesh that he had to battle with. Whoever Elvis was, there was something truly divine about him. Consider how beautiful he was. It wasn't just a typical type of beauty. It was angelic, it was glorious. I think he was God's perfect creation! I know without a doubt he taught many many people while he was here on this Earth: how to love, how to give, how to be. I truly believe we will all see him again!!

Elvis liked short people and short people liked Elvis! Haha. Thanks for sharing and making us all laugh. I learned a life lesson from Elvis just being a fan hanging around. One night he came out of the crosstown and was in a mood. I wish someone had asked what movie y’all had seen. We (fans)were surprised when he started talking and saying stuff. What stuck with me was Elvis saying No one is better than you unless You think they are. That hit a note with me and the rest of my life if I had to standup in a business meeting I would remember those words and it helped me to not feel intimidated.

Hi Memphis Mafia Kid, do your kids and grandkids ask lots of questions about Elvis? It must be wonderful being a member of this great man's family. Cheryl :)

+Cheryl Jones Yes, we talk about Elvis a good bit. Took one of our granddaughter to the birthplace a couple years ago. Our grandkids are 10 and under so just now really starting to understand who Elvis was.

Elvis lived 1st Corinthians. It takes all of us to make a church. In life it takes all of us fo this world to go around.

Could 'closed caption' be added to this video...for those of us a bit hard of hearing...the volume is sometimes very low. Many thanks! Love all of you and your videos!

Nivasi does 'a bit hard of hearing' mean anything to you? Why don't you get yourself a brain for a change?
