I love the engine swaps, it’s something I’ve always contemplated doing, the only thing putting me off is the fact it can affect the MOT and Tax exemption of classic cars now the government changed the rules on this, how does Dave feel about these changes. As the only thing that I could change would be to a rover engine in order to keep it compliant!!

How would/could you calculate a resale value of a LR that’s been converted and upgraded substantially? .. as always the videos are great!!!

Unless the "Wombat" has a lift system, I think it is sitting a little too high. Otherwise, a great piece of kit.

Once again some more nice bits n pieces and a wombat coming up for sale. shared to face book. Question 300 tdi once warm under load above half throttle, spitting / tapping sound. have done head gasket before with composite gasket new bolts and skim 30000 mile app'x ago. Will be checking rocker shaft, exhaust gasket prior to strip down. also had vac pump last couple of years, any other thoughts. might get tempted by some door handles after. Motor has 210000 on clock but on a J plate I don't think it was all this engine. was in when I bought it 13 / 14 years ago. Timing belt and clutches by others rest self maintained.

Picking up a Puma tomorrow I need to come down so we can make a plan…..

M57 into a Puma 110, go Auto or stick with the MT82 Manual 6sp? If Auto 6HP or 8HP?

Dave how much for a conversion like this please, I have a cracking 90 with TD5 engine 1984 full rest, engine and gearbox are typical tractor units, im happy with the overall chassis new galvy one, bodywork is good just want to convert to something modern Stewarty
