Just in case someone hasn't explained, when the Monsus battle buss is talking about memes he means ideas. It's a Richard Dawkins theory. Ideas propagate like dna. They pass from person to person changing in slightly each time. Some ideas are propagated easier then others. That's what Monsoon means when he says "Memes, the dna of the soul"

funny internet "memes" are a subset of memetic mutations afterall and where the word came from. In its truest sense its always at play in the public sphere, passing on a communal subconscious understanding or shared mental associations of a subject matter through any sensory mediums and being able to influence a mass group reactons to something else by relating it to established memes.

No, the game is easy to understand. I don't even know the lore of just of metal gear and I easily understood the game the first time I played it. Raiden uses the heels of his body to hold his sword to attack sometimes

@@kylebeguhl8516 I ask because I remember there being optional codec dialogue about cyborgs containing a cache of nano repair paste or something. dunno exactly but they were meant to allow for a cyborg to slowly heal injuries at the rate of a normal human. electrolytes... they're the blade mode fuel, yes? they refill with sword strikes so I just assumed those are not what's in the spines.

Basically. Raiden has appeared as side character in Metal Gear Solid 2, maybe 3, and 4. Now he is main character. He was originally product of war just like Snake. (That is a name) Now we fight for Justice against the World Marshall. (A company that wants to fix the economy by starting war between USA and Pakistan.) The bosses? You see them here. And some of the "real in-game dialogue", not all of it is true. Most is tho.
