Good call as the share price has fallen sharply again since you did the video. Now at $1.70..ouch. It seems to be in a long cycle of never ending Bull traps, investors hunting for a bottom dollar but it keeps falling over. As a owner of these cameras over many years all I noticed was how each new model had more problems with glitching, freezing and overheating. From a camera that was once very reliable in its earlier format to a camera you just can't trust to get the shot. What I never understood is why didn't GoPro enter the Dash Cam market? Maybe the issues with overheating was preventing this as Dash Cams operate in a fairly hostile environment. Anyway RIP GoPro

I recently received my new HERO 12. Love it! No cheater brands from China for me, learned my lesson in those! A few features I’d love to see soon is a motion sensor(mentioned on this thread)wireless charging, no more side door panel to charge every night and a 5G wireless chipset. This would allow for uploading of content to GoPro cloud aseamless while simultaneously recording your shots. So many possibilities with current GoPro ecosystem.

you warned about the fall of GoPro and you gave a very good advise. It keeps going down and down... I changed my GoPro for the DJI Action and I'm happier now. RIP GoPro but I still feel sorry they go down like that. I hope they eventually will come up with some sort of product which is great and challenging again. Time will tell.

I’m in! I have traded this stock for years. A great Chanel trade. Recently bought 1k at 2.70 another 1k at 3.21 and yesterday another 1K at 3.50. I am now invested long and holding. Company looks set to grow and price is ridiculously cheap! The brand alone is worth current market cap. New line of cameras in 2024 “several” new models and ending 2023 with 300 million cash. It’s a buy!

I use both gopro and insta360 and gopro feels higher quality in both build and image to me. I have been waiting for the max 2 to come out; it's been frustrating that they are taking so long while insta360 keeps making yearly updates. Gopro makes awesome cameras but they seem to be really slow in innovation now.

One reason I like my Gopro on hikes and backpacking is I can take timelapse video while I rest and use my phone. I've captured amazing cloudscapes, sunsets, and sunrises on a tripod, draining multiple Gopro batteries and the phone is available to use during that time and battery stays strong. Gopro is light and durable with good video, so it's perfect for backpacking. But for 360 video, their last model (max) is just too old now to compete with insta360.

I sort of agree with you. With all the cool multifunctional gadgets around, having a single device that offers one single function is not as appealing. Unless they manage to make the cameras really small and with amazing functionality like taking great night vision or slow-motion videos, I don't see the point of getting one. The subscription model and cloud services are definitely a step up but still not convinced.

I have a gopro Hero 9 for skydiving, and the quality is excellent. I don't plan on buying a new one any time soon. More recently, I noticed that a lot of skydivers are buying "3D" cameras from a different manufacturer. The way the videos come out, and all the options provide for amazing footage. I honestly feel pretty lame with my "normal" gopro videos compared to theirs...haha! If I end up going back to California for work (for 6 months or more) I will probably end up buying one of those.

I owned the Hero 4 Silver, Then the Hero 7 Black and now the Hero 10. I think maybe the dji action will be my next purchase.

gopro is a ONE trick pony and that place where they compete is outdone by other brands and i sold all my gopro's to keep my 7black - the most reliable one i've owned

just thought i may mention gopro is bringing back it's 3d camera max 2 soon. Also new desktop editing software going to be released next year. and also lots of professional movie production companies use gopro to shoot movies. Just a few more tid bits of info here

My hero 10 looks horrible. Tried all different combinations of settings. KZfaq is full of videos trying to fix people's terrible footage. Does anyone have even halfway decent video? Mine flickers, looks like 640 x 480. Dark in the slightest shadow. Very grainy and jumpy. Either black or totally blown out white footage. The cheapest phone camera looks 100x better. This looks like a webcam from 1998 or something

As I see this video, there stock is at 1.73 I'm just saying. Also insta360 cameras are better n also there video editing software is amazing. Enough said.

Massive short squeeze coming

Well this vid turned out to be a cloak and dagger slam on the stock. I'm long and holding. I see a big comeback for this stock. Funny how he complains he was bored watching 10 min of some guy's gopro drone footage -- i have to say was bored watching the full 12+ minutes of HIS vid. It's called editing.. Gopro sport footage is not MEANT for 10 min timeframes (unless shot by a pro!) -- in comparison the average TICKTOK vid is 30-50 SECONDS long. That's the timeframe most people pay attention for and i'm sure that drone footage would've been great if edited down. His slam was irrelevant. This stock could be a big turnaround story. So many institutional investors-- they have to know something I don't. ha. Get in while it's low-- I'm watching it.

I'm over spec stocks. I've been burned to many times. Like Ale said GoPro is a popular stock. It is in Robinhood's top 100.🙃
