This Gil is NOT Stay Night Gil, this is the real Gilgamesh who he was at his time being alive, Stay Night Gil is nasty badly written sadistic piece of s***....it's like they have stripped down everything good about Gil .....Nasu later made his CCC route to show his real self bc in stay night he was influenced by the era he summoned in which changed his mentality to the worst....tho the real Gil is still very arrogant and boastful he still is more or less a huge tsundere who cares about the Master.

Gilgamesh is the type of a character that mostly swayed by his mood all the time. You can be his ally, his enemy, his servant. Do you know why that Gil have tolerance and friendly attitude to exceptional? Well that is mostly perceived by his passive clairvoyance skill, Sha Naqba Imuru. This thing is a high leveled mentality foresight that let tells him what kind of person upon seen by his eyes. Those that perceived by him with determination, unwillingness, goal are the type that he likes. He doesn't really like Emiya Shirou for one thing other the fact as a Faker. He discerned the true picture within the boy. Nothing but hollow shell, a machine that tries to imitate as a human. Only being filled by a promise the redhead made by his father dying words. In short, he doesn't like puppets with strings.

Well... I don't know thing about his clairvoyance, but I am agree that he like people with determination. In CCC we able together with Gilgamesh as servant because of that, and he willing to using all his power for us. Also why is he hated about Emiya Shiro is hollow, maybe he reminded about Enkidu.

@@sourwolf95 Before Enkidu meet person who Enkidu mimic/current appearance and before meet Gilgamesh, Enkidu is just god puppet. They create to bind Gilgamesh to heaven, and yet Enkidu befriend with Gilgamesh. After long together with Gilgamesh, Enkidu gained "heart" and yet in the end Enkidu killed by gods. In Shiro case, he bit similar with Enkidu when still "puppet" of god, who is "hollow" and obedient to god.

Gil always stole my heart. All 3 versions are absolutely amazing, though as always his adult Archer self is a character. I'm honestly surprised that Artoria was so passive about the whole deal. I guess she sees his power as an asset even if his personality isn't. But when Kid Gil talked about hiding for the sake of not wanting to come to blows, I felt bad for him so much. Kid Gil hates his adult Archer self like we all know our resident singing dragon hates her true self but to the extent that he wants to ACTIVELY kill or hide away... and knowing adult Archer, he's not likely to change unless you put him into a deep thought or conversation. Fuck it, throw Enkidu at him and he'll mellow out. Or be too busy. Problem solved!!

Wow Archer Gil is really hated but they don't deny his power and how useful he'd be to Master. His personality is so difficult the other servants are already impressed by the fact that Master summoned him and he's actually behaving.

well muramasa is a smith, so I think he would be more interested in the weapons and their qualities and stuff, and he would probably enjoy talking to gil more, rather than be somewhat antagonistic with him, since gil appreciates fine works of any kind, whether they be weapons or artifacts, and he probably also enjoys people who, do what they really want and pursue what they want, he likes a star that shines the brightest as is, not a star that is bound by shackles, to put it in another way it's like zanoba and perugius in mushoku tensei, and shirou is a copy and mirror which is different than muramasa's thing, although shirou still knows many things about swords so I guess they are similar? I dunno man, ah I'm talking about muramasa as muramasa, not muramasa with shirou, since the latter are a different subject, and I am unfamiliar with shirou muramasa's personality so I can't say anything regarding him
