That is pretty good teaching. During the pandemic there were so many that were not bringing in an income and needed help. the church that they tithed to for decades never gave so much as a bag of groceries. We were blessed in that we were retired and in the situation where we were OK. But we know many young families who were really hurting and the church did not reach out to them. And in fact some churches reminded them that they are where to keep up their tithes! Such greed!

Thank you for your time in preaching on this less preached verses. Nowadays, we tithe in silver (money) and the pastors (Levities) pay themselves with money from this tithe, however, when they help the needy they give them small packages like beans (at least at my church). It’s disturbing because why are the needy not helped with money, the same standards that pastors use to eat from the tithe?

Thou shalt truly tithe all the increase of thy seed, that the field bringeth forth year by year 22 Be sure to set aside a tenth of all that your fields produce each year The wording definitely makes a difference in the meaning. Same verse but could be interpreted very differently.

What about the part of eating the tithe in the presence of the Lord, what's the translation to that? V22 and V26
