Oh I've got one for this. I'm a librarian, and I'm sick and tired of explaining why the library throws books away. If we kept every single book, there'd be no room for new ones, and no one is knocking down our doors to read 'The Contract with America', so it's gotta go. Sure, we COULD repair a damaged book, book repair costs about 50+ dollars an hour, OR I can purchase a new one for next to nothing. Yes, it should be recycled, but the recycling center won't take this kind of paper, won't take it after it's been soaked in this biological fluid, won't take anything from us anymore because it was too much, there isn't a recycling center within a reasonable distance, unless you'd like to personally foot the bill to send it to the nearest center over 200 miles away. Yes, I'd LOVE to sell it in the used bookstore, but no one is looking to purchase another copy of 50 shades of Grey, but local laws prevent us from doing so because we can't generate an income as a government entity, but we need volunteers to run it, are you volunteering? I'd love to send it to an organization that could make use of this book, but this text book is 50 years old and refers to African Americans as negros. Sure, I COULD place your old book on the shelf, but if YOU don't want it anymore, what makes you think anyone else does? And on, and on, and on... In library school, this was literally one of the things we studied, because people have defunded the library over it. I wish people would just trust the professionals when we say: throwing them away is better in the long run.

Steam locomotives (the really old ones) have not been often used in many places since the 1950s/1960s. Few steam locomotives are still around, yet alone still in money-making service. Most of the time when you see them running, it’s because other railfans have restored them! Plus, they’re really cool! It’s nice to go to a museum that has a working steam locomotive, and ride a passenger train pulled by it!

Oh you’re bad headaches are not migraines but my migraines and then list symptoms that he has where his diet pupils dilate where he can’t see those are his symptoms. That’s like to me if someone has a cold and they’re like and then someone else goes you do not have a cold. CORRELATION DOES NOT MEAN FUCKING CAUSATIOn even when two thing seem like the correlation fits the causation it doesnt there could be innumerous amount of factors that come into play that you will never know about so you cannot possible use correlation to prove anything really, you can use it to find trends but you cannot use it to find solutions to problems, the trends are usually cause by things that are unknown, like if you look it up 70 of all domestic violence women thrown the first punch but 60% of hospital visits for domestic voilence are women but in lesbian relationship there has the most domestic violence then straight relationships then gay relationships but also 35-55% of female murder is done by the SO. now each of these stats could 'prove' that either men or women do domestic violence more but there are clearly so many factors that play into just saying that one or the other does it more doesnt help anything stop trying to find trends and just focus on individual cases and not just about domestic violence you cant use trends to prove anything, you can 'prove' almost anything with statistics

(Your primaries matter people). -> The Republican party has generally performed worse on the economy, is bad on public transportation and cycling infra which is critical to many people in poverty and generally opposes most financial and social safetynets (all of which negaitvely affecting people already in student debt). Not to mention, the fact the Republican Party heavily contributed to stopping Biden from being able to cancel as much student loan debt as he initially wanted, and is currently outright attacking various forms of higher education and undercutting its' effectiveness by meddling in curricula; especially as it relates to social, history and medical subjects.
