This is very impressive. I really admire how you invest in yourself and it shows that if we really want to impove our skills, we can and will find time to do so. You are an eternal learner and I think we all should be. Chapeau!

By the way: I share your opinion about the trade off of translations. I haven't read the book you are referring to, but I experience this a lot with eastern philosophy translated to german. It is one thing to know the meaning of words but a whole new universe to fundamentally understand the subject.

This is a great video about your system and how you think of a book for awhile before you decide to common place the book in your reading journal. Most of my reading is just to meet an amazon kindle challenge.
