One of the most important parts of using a hunting blind is what goes in with you. You can move less and be comfortable than you will be more successful.

The blind is easy to put up and take down. kzfaq.infoUgkxvlQxmcZQzSQSYbJsEgAGvG2DaduKTV99 As a female hunter, the ease of placing and setting up the blind is a plus. It’s more of a wind barrier than a warm quilted blind. Which makes it a lot lighter than our quilted blind. I enjoyed the larger windows/openings. Made for a successful season. It has held up well for the first season and the stitching looks good

Thanks man. I had no idea that there could be so much that went into successful blind hunting. Good video

I like putting a small 2-3 gallon plastic bucket, filled with dirt from the hunting site, in my blind. This does a good job of holding a shooting stick or small pvc pipe that works as a shooting stick and a gun or bow rest too. The small bucket is heavy enough it doesn't tip over , smells like dirt, is easily and silently moved, and works as a small table too.

I like the blanket in the bottom of the blind idea. I've always pushed the leaves away, but you still have a little sound on the dirt/gravel/etc.

Good tips, going to use the padded blanket for sure.

Instead of the blanket I use indoor outdoor carpet cut to fit in all my blinds. It rolls up nice and fits in the blind bag when not in use. I use a bow pod on my bow but do like the idea if the hang on bow holder and might just make the switch to see how it works. The rest are things I've picked up along the way looking at posts or watching blind hunters over the years. Heck maybe even from you guys over the years. Great video and good tips.

One foot by two foot piece of AstroTurf keeps your boots off frozen ground makes a big difference. Fifteen clothes pins in each blind. Tropicana orange juice jugs in old tobagan in camo sleeve made from old pants legs. Draw string sewed in. Get comfortable an stay all day. Cheep adjustable shooting stick made by Allen in each blind.

I use that rubber wire in my tree stand too, but bring a small wire cutter so you can make what you need on the fly.

I don't use my blind until late season, when the snow gets too crunchy and noisy for still-hunting. must-haves for me are a chair and definitely my heater. I can't sit, I find it just way too boring, and in no time i'm thinking the deer must be just-over-there-where-I-can't-see-them. but when that crunchy snow happens and walking is utterly pointless, I force myself to sit. I got my first deer from my blind last year at the end of November.

When I find a spot for my blind in the pre-season I take my cordless 12inch mower and weedeater to clean up my spot. this becomes very quiet while I am in my blind.

I always hunt from a blind and there was a couple things that I take that you missed. 1. A urine bottle 2.A hand full of snap clothes pins to black out all but a corner of a window. 3 . A good travel mug with coffee and a wet wash cloth to keep it covered.
