I love how the comments have nothing to do with the video. Just please watch the video and keep your anecdotal opinions to yourself.

Brother explains the basis of a strong marriage and relationship. Stop blaming one gender or the other. It is a partnership.

in my opinion many husband's believe that there role is worth more than the wife's role and are never ever satisfied with their wife ,always finding fault and when you do something good it is nothing. Also alot of men are unaware of a wife emotional needs. We listen, take correction and he doesn't care about the wife feelings but before you're married he care about all those things . It's like he pretend to care in order to get married after that he doesn't care,your like a robot just doing as you're told .What a sad way to live.

Maya Chan, this is very true. They both fall off because as mentioned they don’t see flaws in honeymoon stage. It’s the division which they initially should of taken the step towards being a servant or one with Allah, or non other than Allah swt. The English language unfortunately does not permit the establishment of a seed in Allah swt. It’s somehow competes in with a God while in Arabic all the names still come together. By Arabic I mean pure Scripture form the Quran. If you want to base your relationship based on love then understand what love is from Allah swt and then you can perpetually grow with worldly aspect as well with never forgetting of Allah swt for a single second.

The most important thing about marriage is the foundational brick. That brick should be about you two as one in connection with Allah swt. As you go on, your concept of life is separated by what you call time and this is shirk because time is also one of Allah swt’s name unless you attributed to Allah swt. You have certain amount of accumulated energy as a couple and after the honeymoon stage you allow other things to become priority while in the honeymoon stage the energy is undivided. This division comes from ungrounded solid state of achievement with certainty. If the honeymoon state is attributed to self or person this will most likely fade as it lacks grounding, but if it’s grounded to being Allah swt’s will and true acceptance of all then you should be aware of it at the very least as to what your beautiful journey will bring about in all life’s events and occurrences provided your constantly balancing and refueling your relationship from the energy of Allah swt.

The most common cause of high divorce rate is infedelity. If person thinks they can have a wife at home and girlfriends outside the home then they are certainly NOT marriage material and should not even be thinking about marriage.Stop ruining lives and breaking families! These type of men make me sick.

Hence what he said: instant gratification. Btw, women cheat too, and they make me just as sick as the men who cheat.

Is a marriage class (or series of classes) mandatory for an engaged couple in Islam prior to marriage?
@zenrv4 Жыл бұрын
It isn’t inherently mandatory, but probably strongly recommended to learn about marriage in Islam prior to marrying someone. For example, we should know the rights of our partner prior to getting married.
@patriciadubosky718 Жыл бұрын
@@zenrv4 Thank you for your response. Are there Islamic books or resources that you would recommend that address these rights? Or, is it simply stated in the Quran? I'm a revert and would like to marry but want to know more about these rights for both partners so we're positioned to be the best partners.

@@patriciadubosky718 Of course! Assalamualaikum and welcome :). I’d recommend speaking to your nearest credible sunni (people who align with Sunni ideals) Muslim mosque. I don’t have many recommendations for you since I’m not very knowledgeable on the subject. It is stated in the Quran but for someone who is learning, having a teacher or a book explaining it is the best option. There may be things not directly listed in the Quran as well.

@@zenrv4 Asalumalaikum and thank you 🙂! Thank you for your suggestions, I greatly appreciate the guidance and will follow up accordingly. Bismillah!

@@patriciadubosky718 Of course! Also, just a note. We say Waalaikumassalam when someone else says Assalamualaikum! It means “And unto you peace” or something similar. If you can’t find a mosque near you, you could call them or someone and see if they know any online classes :)

I’ve been with my wife for almost two weeks or so and she’s been giving me hell for no reason. I haven’t infringe on her Rights at all. And all I try to do is help her and all I get from her is she’s not going to obey or sleep with me period. What’s crazy about the two weeks we have been married. We haven’t consummated the marriage and every time I try she gives me hell for no reason. I’m confused and feel humiliated.

Party Favors being married myself and being a woman, what I will say is give her time. Even though you’re husband and wife, it can take time for a woman to consummate the marriage. For a woman, it is more than just a physical act. It’s an emotional connection too. Don’t keep on bringing that subject up. Speak to her kindly and gently to find out why she’s giving you ‘hell’? But remember to be kind and gentle. If she doesn’t want to talk about it, give her some space and then try again. 2 weeks is not much tbh. I know of women that have taken 5, 8 weeks. Yes, that’s right. Patience is key here. I pray it works out for you In’Sha’Allah.

you need to divorce her and get away from her. Dont be a wuss, man up, you deserve better.

Have patience. Communication is very important, so try to communicate with her and find out what’s the real issue
