Honestly halo 5's multiplayer was some of the most fun I've had ever

Halo 5 had an absolutely fantastic sandbox fiesta was so much fun, also i miss the plasma pistol actually functioning and the grav hammer physics

I have a feeling history will be kinder to Halo 5 over time. Although this is probably the black sheep of all the halo games, there’s a lot to like in it

I loved Halo 5 multiplayer! It felt unique but still like Halo at the same time. I miss Warzone and Warzone firefight, and all the weapon variants made the sandbox incredible. Breakout at launch was a super cool mode as well

Halo 5 multiplayer was so strong, I put SOOO much hours into this. It's so hard to get back into now though since I'm so used to Infinite

I''ve been on PC since the Series X release date and haven't touched Halo 5 since. I'd love to see this game on PC, I'd even pay for it a second time. I'm glad there is still a community that understands Halo 5, I used to get flamed on Reddit and certain discord servers for bringing up Halo 5 multiplayer in a discussion.

My dad and I play H:5 every day with several groups of people, whether online or customs. It's still very fun, especially Husky Raid. 9/10

I always said if H5 was given a proper PC port I would never get off it.

Warzone Firefight was some of the best fun I've had in Halo. Thought it was a no-brainer to have it in Infinite.

My personal favorite halo multiplayer. With the 10 year anniversary in 2 years, hopefully it will be added to PC or the MCC then if not before

Halo 5 did have some of the best multiplayer :) I miss the days of having the main menu up and seeing the grunt float in space

halo 5 breakout before they swapped the weapon loadouts was so much fun wish they would have competitive maps like that again

I will not lie, halo 5 had some of my favorite multiplayer gameplay. If it had all the PC shine and glam that infinite has, I'd love to jump back in. Mostly an FOV slider.

Such an underrated multiplayer and one of my absolute faves, the skill gap was absurd, every match was so sweaty, i want this in MCC so badly

Call it a hot take but I think H5 has the best weapons and equipment sandbox. I came into halo 5 after playing lots of cod advanced warfare so the thrusting was something I was used to.

Would love to see the weapon variants that are in Halo 5 brought to Halo Infinite! It just made the sandbox for super fiesta so much fun. I think that's one thing lacking in Infinite's gameplay right now is the amoutn of weapon options. Might have to go back and play a little Halo 5 just for fun after seeing this video, Mint :)

My 1st Halo game was Halo 5, it has a special place in my heart even if it had it's cons.

I been playing halo since CE and 5 is one my absolute favorite games with sweaty matches. I love maps ground pound ect. I love it so much so happy see it getting some love

H5's multiplayer is so much fun. I played Warzone so much back in the day. Really holds up.

About a month ago i logged in and was able to find a warzone firefight match. I was blown away how much MORE fun I had playing that than literally any mode in Infinite. The gun variety was great, the game played smooth, and the mode itself was just such great fun I was sad when I couldnt find another match after that. 343 really made a mistake thinking that everything from 5 needed to be dropped like a bad habit. It was really just the direction of the story people didnt like...and the funky art direction.

I've been screaming about H5 needing to be on PC, for YEARS now! I would do anything for that port, H5 is one of my favorite Halo MP experiences!

I miss halo 5 it was such a fun game say wat u want about the campaign for this game but the multi-player was incredible maybe I need to get on there again this game was so fun they need to do a next Gen and PC update for halo 5 I been saying it for so long halo 5 has the best weapon sand box and they need to add some of these weapons to infinite

I loved Halo 5! Warzone with all the crazy weapon and vehicle variants was so much fun. The armor abilities were super fun too - made you feel like a proper Spartan. Would absolutely play it if it came to PC!

okay, considering my incredibly low bar set for this game because of what i saw happen in the campaign of halo 5 (watched full campaign cutscenes on youtube), i was NOT expecting the main menu and multiplayer to look this good! legit, that was the best halo main menu since Halo CE! its legit to where i want to play it now lol

H5 had a crazy fun sandbox for social play in modes like super fiesta, I had never played a game like it and that mode alone kept me coming back to the game for at least an extra year. Also that 241 ricochet was absolutely insane, awesome clip Ronin.

Warzone and customs 10/10 Customs still decently active, mostly in the evenings or weekends

I loved this game. I think this was one of the last games I played where all my friends would come online every night and we'd play warzone and custom games before everyone started having kids. Warzone was great they need to bring that back.

I loved halo 5. Played it non-stop for 3 years (compared to infinite which lost my interest in 5 months). Halo CE, 3 and 5 are my favorite halos

I went on a grind to get every req Specifically because of the Emile armor I used to hate this game a lot when I first played it But when I went on this journey my opinion of the game started to change And I actually think it’s pretty fun (I haven’t finished story mode so I don’t have an opinion on that yet) Now I love it

To be honest I really like halo5’s weapon and vehicle variety and was confused when infinite turn it down by having weapons that function slightly differently and barely any vehicle variety it was a really good feature that 5 has and wished that infinite brings that back.

I love Halo 5 infection, it’s the best infection in the series hands down! I was really excited for Infinite infection, but it just feels like something is missing. It’s fun, but I only want to play a few matches before going to a different game mode, but with H5 infection, I could play all day and still have fun.

Halo 5 nailed the pistol. It was so well balanced and made it so you would still pick up the dmr, battle rifle, or carbine. At close range though, it was amazing and had such a quick reload. I miss it so much and the aim down sight feature made halo 5 so awesome and it’s sorely missed in infinite.

Halo 5 was a game i was so skeptical about before it came out. And yeah the campaign sucked, but the arena multiplayer was so much fun. Probably the only game aside from Titanfall 2 and Halo 3 where i actually enjoyed sweating. The Arena was so intense and it made every match an action and strategy game at the same time. I want them to add it to MCC. I think with all the interest in movement shooters recently, i think it could thrive on MCC. And it might repopulate modes like breakout (which I miss so much).

I can't quite lie, Halo 5 MP was quite a fun experience. Abilities and the whole catering to competitive nature was surely jarring, but I enjoyed it because it had so many features that also made it a fun and casual experience. This is such as Warzone and Forge definitely being a high for me in Halo multiplayer. That being said, the map selection was so underwhelming because of the remixing maps shenanigans.

I've played every Halo, most time was spent on Halo 2,3 and Reach, Played the campaigns of the others but didn't touch multiplayer in between Reach and Infinite. Might have to dust off the xbox and try it out since. I play infinite almost daily now, it's so good, just not enough players

Halo 5 is the first Halo game that made you feel like a true 26th century super soldier. Multiplayers a 10/10 and campaign is a 6/10.

Halo 5 big team fiesta was the best fun I've had in any halo game, ever. I wish we had a comparable option (and just more 'halo' BTB in general) in Infinite.

I found the main menu music for H5 was alright but I hated the later part of the music when you waited. The music tends to get way too loud during that portion. I kinda wish that they would have like not done that in the later portion of the song.

YES, I have been wanting Halo 5 to be put on MCC for years, I know 343 and lots of the community thinks it doesn't belong there as it has locke in it, but it is part of the story and it feels odd not to be able to play it. + H5's multiplayer is a really fun multiplayer, as long as you're not actually looking at it from a halo arena viewpoint.

Dude Halo 5 music is on par with the rest of the games. There is alot about Halo 5 that I love and alot that I don't. Really hoping we get this game on PC.

A lot of people didn’t like halo 5, but for me, it was the halo game I mainly played when I was younger. The multiplayer was so much fun, especially big team super fiesta, fiesta, action sack, husky raid, and castle wars CTF. Warzone was soooooo much fun. Best halo multiplayer ever, even if it is sweaty. Seeing footage from halo 5 multiplayer made me feel nostalgia and made me remember the good old days.

This was the first halo game I personally owned so many good memories on breakout.

343 promised to look after halo then they did this - then they lied about split screen coming to infinite etc etc etc they destroyed halo

Halo 5 was practically a huge chunk of my college life. The multiplayer was so much fun and I’ll defend it to the end, especially Warzone Firefight. This game was (at the time) 343’s best Halo game.

Still no splitscreen so you have to pay for 2 boxes two games and live twice just to play with my dad. What sort of rip off is this ?

We actually tried to find a match tonight on multi but played co op campaign and the game actually looks very impressive for such a old title on the Xbox Series S. Game feels very snappy and will try the multi to get the online experience.

Halo 5 is home to my greatest forge content. I've made tons of chaotic unreal tournament maps, frantic death match derby arenas, and my best ones. Being the sonic the hedgehog themed and inspired ones. First person sonic racing?! I would love to see this on PC. Even if I had to remake all 100 maps again

Yes I think this lovely game should definitely be on PC. It has so much potential still and I love the big skill gap on this game for matchmaking.

Fiesta is where halo 5 really shines, the crazy weapon sandbox makes it feel like halo. If it wasn't for warzone and fiesta halo 5 would not have been as good, because regular slayer just becomes pistols only and it becomes too repeative and sweaty

i remember watching a video a while back that talked about halo infinite's engine if you uncap your frames yeah you can get high numbers but you push the limited thread counts to their absolute limit, so any input feels less responsive because the game needs to clear some space in the correct thread(s) before your input can be processed (massive oversimplification). You can verify this yourself when using process monitor (not task manager, it can be deceptive when it comes to things like thuis) When playing halo 5, the xbox must have some performance overhead so it is always ready to accept your input, which is why it feels so much more responsive to play halo infinite feels way more responsive when you cap your frames to 120 (or for weaker pcs cap it to something below what it can achieve on average). This gives the game enough breathing room to always be ready to accept an input (again, massive oversimplification)

I always hear that halo 3 has the best multiplayer but halo 5 is the underrated king of halo multiplayer, it has the best weapon sandbox and husky mode on it is amazing because of the weapon sandbox, halo 3 multiplayer is definitely fun but halo 5 just feels better. It’s disappointing that people dislike halo 5 so much.

One thing to remember is that if you play Halo 5 PC version, the custom game content that was made on console for gametypes and maps aren't available for PC players.

I loved the infection gamemode, specifically the uh one where you had to holdout for the next area, don't remember what it was called but I have fond memories of it

Halo 5 Multiplayer experience is the best experience for a modern Halo game even though the game came out in 2015. All 343 needs to do is come out with a content update for this game just like they did for MCC, and the game will be alive again. Halo 5 Content Update 1. Fix all the errors, crashing, freezing, and loss connections with server issues. 2. Add PC Port to the game with a way to turn it off throughout the entire game. 3. Add FOV Sliders, Optimized for Xbox S|X, 120fps 4. Return the game to its former state before all the sandbox updates. 5. Add New - Armor, Assassinations, Weapon Skins, Visors, Arena, and Warzone Maps 6. In Custom Games, add an option for the party leader to kick players from their lobby.

Halo 5 will be like the Star Wars prequels in a few years, everyone will brainwash themselves into thinking it was actually good
