It is something that Karl Boniface does before staging. Other videos of him on my channel show him doing this. I asked him about it and he said it was "to bed in the clutches' Thanks for watching and commenting, Anthony.

NHRA bring back the fuel altereds . With rules that allow them proper wheelbase so they can get down the track 😊

I didn't realize they weren't run in the States. Those short wheelbase altereds give a hairy ride. Thanks for watching and commenting, Anthony
@hughsnyder8915 жыл бұрын
anthony851 they run maybe at special events but not in the National NHRA events with Top Fuel , Funny Cars and ProSock Cars . Probably safety concerns. However that was my point if they alter the rules like longer wheelbase and proper wheelie bars making them more manageable they would be a great addition to the lineup .

@@anthony851 Thanks for the reply anthony. I should admit that if I was the one driving that and had it shoot up as suddenly and as high as that, I'm pretty certain I'd have to walk away from the car backwards so nobody would see the stains at the back of my pants. WELL I TELL YOU WHAT HAPPENED HER HIT THE DAMN WHEELY BARS SO HARD HARD IT MADE THE REAR TIRES COME OFF THE GROUND AND THATS 1 OF THE ONLY DOWN SIDES TO WHEELY BARS
@Romans--bo7br3 жыл бұрын
Shiftube.... I always ran Wheelie Bars on my FED's, after I nearly had a total blow-over and wrecked the chassis, back in the 70s, because "wheelie bars" were for sissie's... so they said! From there, on out I ran them, but I set them so that the front end would only lift about 5" on the hit, which forced the slicks to really dig in and bite hard... and lowered my et's because when you're riding up on the ring gear, you're losing forward movement... am a firm believer in the bars, at least for FED's... which is all I ever owned and raced.

Drag racing is for people that have done horrible things that they feel guilty about.They punish themselfs by building expensive beautifully detailed cars then drive for a few seconds and rebuild it again and again. My heart breaks when I have to replace a engine at 300000Km.

I'll try to explain; massive automotive hemispherical head internal combustion engines powered by rocket fuel producing somewhere on the order of 8,000 hp,.....each,.......shake the very ground beneath you and can be heard for miles away whilst perfuming the air with explosive force. If you still don't get it, I really can't help you.
