They will drop something in the spring that’s when NCAA use to drop snippets before they canceled it in 2013 I still remember !

People are falsely blaming EA for not releasing anything. I’m not trying to say that I think EA is a good company (they aren’t) but we were taking the words of leakers as absolute fact and yeah sometimes they are right but most of the time, they aren’t.

Few reasons why I have zero faith in the game dropping this summer: 1. It's EA. Their whole identity is built on false promises, missed deadlines and a lack of urgency. They've already delayed the game once, and they still have a pending lawsuit they can use as an excuse. And given the demand for another CFB game, another delay wouldn't prevent anyone from buying it if/when it DOES eventually come out, as angry as we'd all be. 2. The fact that EA said NOTHING during the CFP Championship is extremely alarming. If the game is set to come out in July of 2024 as reported, then all of the coding for gameplay should be DONE. You can't code any major gameplay with only 6 months until release. The fact we didn't even get a SCREENSHOT is extremely alarming because that tells me that they are FAR behind where they SHOULD be in development. Could crunch make some of that up? Maybe, but not only would that be detrimental to the employees, but we would also likely end up with a broken mess like Cyberpunk and Madden. 3. Let's say the first two options are false. Let's say the core gameplay & game design/coding is done AND EA is planning to release the game in July 2024. Why not release SOMETHING then? There's no way EA didn't know about people's expectations, it was all over the news for weeks. If the gameplay/design is done and the release date is set, there's only one explaination for not releasing anything: The game is either a Madden clone/The game generally looks like shit. Remember, NO ONE is interested in a CFB Game that is the exact same as Madden but with altered jerseys/stadiums. When the game was announced, fans made it VERY clear that we wanted a CFB Game built from the ground up on a proper engine (NOT FROSTBITE) that looked and played far better than Madden did. EA acknowledged that and promised that the new game would NOT be a Madden clone. If this game comes out, and it's just Madden 24 with a different paint scheme, sales will drop through the FLOOR and fans will go absolutely insane (Not in a good way).

EA couldve at least sent a message it takes 2 seconds to create a tweet saying "We heard the rumors but no news will be coming out today" but they said nothing and let the rumors run wild

Appreciate you tubby. Bummer to see that even you are somehow getting backlash for this. Some people just hear what they want to hear and think what they want to think. I am beyond excited for this game, used to stay up all night playing it with my best friend every year on the day it came out.

I thought it would’ve been cool if they showed gameplay using Michigan and Washington and made a transition from the actual game to the video game trailer that made you squint your eyes and took a second to realize it wasn’t live footage.

I think they didn't release it cause people were blowing it way out of proportion on what was going to be announced and they didn't want the announcement to get massive hate. Kind of a lose-lose situation though cause people still ended up outraged.

It will be released in July 100% then new madden in August 100% there working on 2 games at once everyone just needs to chill and wait

I'm sure this game has been put off and delayed the way it has due to the current state of college football. How do they incorporate the transfer portal (free agency) into the game? How do they incorporate possible endorsements or money you can offer recruits? Is there a limit to how much you can pay players in the transfer portal? Is there going to be a salary cap type limit that each team can pay players yearly? Do they know which bowl games or venues will be chosen for each playoff game? There are many uncertainties that I'm sure have contributed to the years long delay we've seen for the next college football video game.

I swear if we don’t have an update by the end of the month I’m kind of over it. Because EA could just simply keep us updated on the game it takes like 5-6 seconds to make a tweet and keep your fans updated…but no EA doesn’t care as usual.

Brandon Marcello and Matt Brown need to be dropped in the Arctic Cricle and forgotten about. I don't believe a word any "insider" or "commentator" says anymore since it's all speculation at this point. Unless something of substance comes out from EA, I will not believe it.
