Analog horror is an internet-born genre of horror, and in its hayday, it was up there with the likes of Slenderman and FNAF. So, how did it become so big, and maybe even more pressingly, what happened that caused it to fall into the annals of webhistory? What happened to analog horror?
⚠ This video contains heavy topics like fictional gun violence and the sexual harassment of minors.
Interestingly, I'm somewhat inspired by gomotion's The Faults of Analog Horror; despite Jodie being a self-proclaimed not-expert, she landed the hammer on the nail pretty well, and I figured as someone who has been a fan of the genre since the Film Theory first dropped, I probably had a good eye for the topic.
That said, if you enjoy, please, I beg you, to consider donating on Patreon, because due to a bunch of reasons, this video isn't monetized. So, if you could support the channel in whatever way you can, it would mean a lot.
