A Radioisotope Thermoelectric Generator (RTG) is a type of nuclear battery that uses the heat generated by the natural radioactive decay of plutonium-238 to produce electrical power[2][5]. ബ്രോ ഒരു doubt ഉണ്ട്. Sleep mode ഇൽ ഇടാൻ അതിന് വേറെ ഒരു circuit ന്റെ ആവശ്യം വേണ്ടിവരില്ലേ . അപ്പോൾ sleep mode ഇൽ ഇട്ടാലും freezing lunar night കഴിയുമ്പോൾ ഈ circuit survive ചെയ്താൽ മാത്രമല്ലെ sleeping mode off ചെയ്യാൻ പറ്റു. Battery യുടെ പണി കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടുണ്ടാവുമെന്നാണ് എനിക്ക് തോന്നുന്നത്. ബാക്കി componenets survive ചെയ്യാൻ സാധ്യത കൂടുതലാണ്. എന്തായാലും ഒരു miracle സംഭവിക്കട്ടെ ❤

The mission is to demonstrate soft landing and explore moon. Its not about taking photo of earth and sun from there... 😂. While chandrayan 3 starting its journey to moon there was a photo earth taken. Be satisfied with it. The experiments and it's results are important that just photo sessions! More over Vikram has a b&w camera so it doesn't make sense taking earth's photo
