I'm a staunch atheist and I still want Easter back in SSO.

To be honest I don't understand why sso did remove Easter, I never really heard anyone complaining about it, instead people really enjoyed. I understand star stable's idea of being fair to all religions, but as a Christian I don't see anything religion-related in collecting coloured eggs and Easter bunnies. And when it comes to April Fool's Day I always enjoyed the pranks sso did, last year I even had this idea for them to bring back old sso and its graphics back as a joke.

I'm so happy I got to experience these activities, making my horse even more magical, the funny April 1st jokes, all of it. Started back in 2013 and couldn't be more grateful to have these memories.

feeling so nostalgic! easter is for sure my favorite tradition in starstable since i'm swedish and we're pretty obsessed with easter haha. it makes me so sad to see this swedish game slowly drift away from its nordic roots, it's amazing that they want to be inclusive to all, by changing the name to egg hunt etc, but removing it is so disappointing. i have so many dear memories of waking up during the easter break excited to log into the game to hunt for eggs and figure out the april fools prank. buying the new tack and clothing just to look silly

I miss easter in SSO and especially April Fools. The creativity of the team making pranks with the players in mind was so special.

honestly, i dont even know if this is possible but i feel like this idea would be pretty cool. so what if star stable had like the normal version of the game, and then a classic, old version of the game. now i know thats probably a lot of work but i feel like if they brought the same team back to update the old one but still keeping it the same, id play that game instead of the new sso. like animal jam has a new and classic version of their game, and its great!

easter was one of my fav celebrations in sso. egg hunting, colorful horses, many quests and most importantly - fun. so many people you'd spend time with and explore jorvik on your galaxy horse, that the pink bunny gave you. i will never understand the disappearance of easter as well as christmas and many other events. the game is definitely more boring now. there is nothing to do and the team does nothing about it, which just breaks my old-sso-player heart even more :(

Midsummer, valentines, april fools, easter, and the birthday update were all times i enjoyed playing. Sad that a lot of these events were removed

For some reason, I felt the need to watch Star Stable. I heard some music from Star Stable, and it just brought me back. I haven't played Star Stable in a couple of months, but I just remembera core memory of my first April fools on Star Stable. Clicking on the adorable bunny rabbit until I got my favorite pattern. I also remember when our horses could be turned into cars, and how our horses could be turned tiny. But I feel the most nostalgia when I see the colored horses. I don't think I remember an Easter, but I'm sure there was one. I will be sure to log on, and attempt to look back. I know this is probably all over the place, but so many amazing memories reminded me of how much I actually miss the Star Stable in 2017 - you probably feel the same, and I'm sure you do. Anyways, enough of what I think. Thank you so much for providing me with the memories I had that I would have never remembered. Still, I think we should continue to watch it grow, even if we don't like it as much as we did. I hope they bring some traditions back, eventually. Thank you for reading this, and letting me find a safe place to share my feelings about Star Stable!

Honestly, we should all start a petition for sso to bring back the old graphics, quests and lore in the main story quests!

I know this is unrelated but I will NEVER forgive them for changing the soundtracks..

i miss old star stable so much

I genuinely envy players who have been around since the beginning or, at the very least, earlier days of the game. I know they must miss old SSO because a lot was taken away from them, but I never got to experience any of it in the first place. Sure, I played Starshine Legacy as a kid, one episode, sure, but it was enough to leave a lasting impression to the point where I, now an adult, found and played the rest. Then and only then, with no nostalgia for Season Riders or any knowledge of old SSO, I stepped into the world of the MMO. I am not religious, and here, in Russia, Easter is not celebrated the same way it might be in other parts of the world. But I would love to experience that event. It's colorful, fun, harmless and meant to bring joy. Excluding players by removing the event is not inclusivity, it's a step back in my opinion. So I hope it returns one day.

I joined in october 2019 just before halloween, and i am so sad that i never got to experience easter and all the april fools days except for small stable :( and i just really want some of the easter clothes and tack!!

I think they would be more inclusive if they would left Easter. Because this is how we can celebrate more cultures! I remember that sso used to make country inclusive events so I think it would even bring them more attention if we would get to celebrate for example; Chinese new year celebrations. I think mainly the reason is as they said; it’s just putting too much work for one day, and considering they had to update the stater horse they’d probably would need to update the method, but let’s leave our hopes up that pink bunny may return one day! I think maybe in future we will get those celebrations returned

ahh 7 minutes ago! i love your channel so much, I've been playing for just over 10 years now and your channel brings so much joy and helps me remember the nostalgia and warm fuzzy feeling i had waking up early in the morning and asking my mom if i could "go groom my horses" and then proceed to play for hours hehe! 💗 ✨ 🐴 🌺

I think those smaller events were fun and I do miss the easter egg hunt and the april fools day content, but I'm having more fun on SSO than ever nowadays what with being able to do champs all day for lots of horse training xp and also the game is super active. We also have the group training at Jorvik Stables and Moorland festival grounds which encourages players to work together. I think that there's a lot more positivies than negatives with the new way they do festivals and I'm happy with it. This video was very nostalgic, and I thank you for it, but I think change can sometimes be a good thing in this case.

I've genuinely never seen anyone complain about the holiday events because of their faith. Most of them were pagan/not religious in nature and only got changed by Christians much later on anyway. It's not like there was ever a Super Jesus statue in Fort Pinta - Easter was about finding eggs, Christmas was about helping Santa, Midsommar was about celebrating nature and change (Midsommar was especially fascinating to me because I'm Slavic and seeing a tradition we "share" with a small part of the world was really cool). I'm an atheist but I always look forward to logging on for Christmas even when I take a break from SSO - and don't even get me started on Halloween.

I don’t get the “it’s too religious” reason to remove such an event, I’m not Christian and I couldn’t care less about the event being religious, it’s just some coloured eggs and some bunny’s :( And if they think they’re not being fair to other religions, why not add special days/events for all the major religions? That would be way more inclusive and people could learn about other religions this way

24:25 i can't help but disagree. There is so many activities during festivals now that i find myself playing for hours. The two rainbow festival horses were so hyped up because they were fan-made designs! They discontinued smaller events due to the lack of time and wanting to put their strenghts to more usefull projects.
