In this episode of The Simpsons Theory, I tasked myself to tell you the past of every single Simpsons character from Matt Groening's The Simpsons. Who will they marry? How many kids will they have?
To do this, I watched every single Simpsons episode set in the past, as well as all of the flashback scenes in the show to bring you the most concise, and accurate, depiction of their life. So wanna see the pasts of Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Superstar Maggie?

I have a theory that because Mr. Burns mentioned he was a survivor of the Titanic and the mentioning of a boating accident I believe all of Burns siblings perished in the sinking of the Titanic.

I like how Homer's love for music was mentioned. That's something I personally picked up on on my complete re-watch last year. His favourite song is It's Raining Men, but he also loves Wichita Lineman. It's put on as mood music at the house party where he creeps on Maude, he plays it as hold music when calling about getting Marge out of rehab, and he has the record of Glen Campbell, who has sung it before.

Impressively comprehensive. In terms of fave character it's so hard. For one-offs it would be Hank Scorpio. In terms of regulars I would say Troy McClure and Lionel Hutz (RIP Phil Hartman).

Awesome vid! I can certainly see that a lot of research went into this one. There were things about some of these characters that even I didn’t know about. As for favourite character(s), that’s a tricky one as I often go back and forth between whom I like the most. But for now I say my Top 3 are Lisa Simpson, Barney Gumble and Mr. Burns.

I’m convinced that certain seasons take place in different timelines. Like the contrasting stories are because certain episodes take place in different decades like the 90s, 2000s,2010s, 2020s. Why else would Artie Ziff be trapped in jail then suddenly out and rich again?

20:26 I remember seeing in an opening sequence of one of the newer episodes, where Mole Man was drinking a smoothie and the uranium rod that got stuck in homers back landed in it. He was super buff and like in his mid 20’s then he took a sip of the now radioactive smoothie and turned into the shriveled up little man we know

Brillant idea Ed, Edd n Eddy is one of my favorite cartoon network cartoons(and cartoon shows in general), would love a coverage of that show. If she likes horror/horror comedy I'd love a coverage of Courage the cowardly dog or The grim adventures of Billy and Mandy. But to continue Rugrats and Fairly Odd Parents would be really nice too, as I remember, she only did a few videos on those shows.

Apu was also the lead singer of the dad band Covercraft, formed in the Simpsons' garage and this also brought him stardom. He'd brushed up on his singing when mopping the Kwik-E Mart's floor during his long shifts!

On a side note Onion Belting is actually telling stories one after another in layers like a onion by rambling on tangents where one story will bring up a totally unrelated topic. So basically it came about having an onion belt or having a onion on belt was foreshadowing him going into such stories. I couldn't find a absolute first source but I have a strong feeling that it was Simpsons that caused this reference to become widely used for a while usually in reference to older people. Haven't heard it recently but if people wanted to know it from belting out as singing lyrics or telling stories and onion which has various layers in a onion or here various stories in one story.

principal and the pauper would fit into the timeline if you consider that Agnes had two sons. the first son being Seymour Skinner who was MIA in Vietnam, and Armin tamzerian who would be abandened a few towns over when young enough to not remember his family. the two brothers reunited in Vietnam without knowing each other, and Agnes saw the spitting image of Sheldon Skinner on her doorstep in a military uniform and decided to roll with it. this was not Seymour, but he was a Skinner. once Seymour came back she realized how much she preferred the second son over the first, and not wanting to complicate her situation at her age she didn't tell the full story.

my fave character is krusty. when I heard. "send in the clowns" it was such a beautiful soulfilled song of sadness and pain. it make the little kid I was at the time suddently be forced to have the mind of a 45 yearold. cause I knew. "sadness" true sadness. the concept of loss and grief and the struggle to recover and get over it. and how its damn near impossible with....without friends to help.... Krusty made me an adult with a single song about his own misery.

I believe prior to that, it showed they were at High school prom, meaning they likely met in high school, but then it showed he was already a cop at the time he met her the second time, but he was too shy to say anything to her, so he planted drugs on her so that’ll she’ll notice him, that way he can arrest her and then full in love with him, which I’m sure she did as well. Sarah is innocent though. That Season 32 is a prejudiced, retconned forced mess that changed everything, including her original character and mannerisms, and it also alters Clancy’s backstory. They made her into a bisexual hooker who clearly doesn’t even love him and all for the sake of sex for money. That makes Clancy look like a POS, along with Ralph, and of course, Sarah. Horrible episode.
