What Happened to Julian Newman?
This video is presented with educational purposes to detail the rise of Julian Newman from a childhood of being a basketball prodigy to his unfortunate downfall as an adult. Since Julian garnered the attention of millions around the world at such a young age, he has left many wondering, "What exactly happened to Julian Newman?" After doing my research and reading numerous articles, I've broken it down to three major reasons as to why his stardom peaked before adulthood. Even though he graduated high school without any college scholarship offers or professional basketball offers, I wish him nothing but the best. He is still young and if he dedicates himself to understanding the game of basketball, I believe Julian can still play at the next level of basketball. After all, as I mentioned in the video, he is a very skilled player who just lacks some key elements of basketball. If Julian learned how to master the parts of his game that aren't the strongest, Julian has a strong case for being able to play college ball or professional basketball somewhere. Thank you for watching, enjoy!

Also the school he was at, they werent even in the actual state league. Like every state basically has 1 top governing body that oversees all their public high school athletics, like think every state had their own NCAA. And you have schools that arent part of that league cus they're private school or whatever so you also have other smaller leagues. This guy played at a school that wasnt in ANY league in his state, which is why he was even allowed to play high school varsity as a 6th grader or whatever lol. So the competition at these schools, lets say they are not the best

Varsity level... he went to a small private school so he didn’t get the real looks he needed. Only social media looks. His dad controlled everything aka he really didn’t get to be coached by anyone else. Every time Julian made move his dad & the family had to make the move. His height was cute when he was kid. Shooting over players a foot plus taller than him. NBA is looking for height. Steph Curry is 6’3. It’s been years since we’ve seen player drafted under 5’10. He isn’t a true point guard. He doesn’t make plays. Even Lebron, will take over point & create plays for teammates

One thing that exposed him was when his team started playing in the Grind Session, a basketball league for prep /private schools. Unlike BIL and OT, they show their games live on KZfaq. I watched those games and let me tell, Julian just doesn’t have it like that. Absolutely Horrible shot selection ( can’t stress this enough ) , Little passing, No D, and so on. Hopefully he can make something out of himself, with all that hype and not even going D1 doesn’t look the best.

Julian's downfall was that everyone caught up and passed his skill levels. I tell parents a kid with mad skill at a young age doesn't really mean much. That is just a sign of the other kids needing more time to develop their skills. Side NOTE: 5000 high school points don't hold water when the kid went to high school for seven years! As his life and basketball career is nothing but smoke and mirrors!
