For those who are worried about the majority of the Devroom entries being lost when Capcom Unity shutdown in May 6, 2020 I have good news. Am a user at Wiki Fandom and I was able to make articles featuring the Bonne Mecha, Bright Bats Mascot, Easter Egg, Promotional Ideas, Townspeople, and Reaverbot entries on Megaman Knowledge Base and even the Neo Devroom entries articles on Megaman Fanon Wiki.

Some of my earliest and best childhood memories are playing MML1 all day with my mom. It's my favorite game series of all time and I'll always hold out hope that MML3 will come out one day.

MML3 is the reason I jumped on buying the original 3DS. Huge regret, since I would have waited for the upgraded versions I knew were gonna come later...

@@GameCircleTv Not until much later. For a long time I tried to justify that purchase when I was using my 3DS to play Pokemon White or some other DS game which my DSLite at the time could have handled well enough.

"Metroid Dread" and Garou 2 or now the title "Fatal Fury City of the Wolves" were previously canceled for some reason, they then refused to be canceled and Rise again to make fans happy. There is a possibility that this could trigger Capcom to believe in reviving the Megaman Legends 3 project, but what can Capcom do? It's hard to trust Capcom to take on Megaman for many reasons.

@@GameCircleTv I think for CAPCOM, it will be difficult or unlikely to revive the Megaman Legends 3 game like other developers who are trying to revive projects like Metroid Dread by Nintendo and Garou 2 by SNK. especially now that Capcom is working on Resident Evil (this is even obvious); Street Fighter; and Monster Hunter, not to mention new games like Pragmata and Dragon Dogma. not to mention new Megaman game (which was leaked) is most likely not the main series but more of a spin-off and could possibly be the Legacy Collection again.

There are even more cancelled games that got brought back such as Star Fox 2 which was on the Super Nintendo Mini Classic and now Nintendo Switch Online Shantae Advance Risky Revolution Streets of Rage 4 If these aren’t enough to convince Capcom to bring back Legends 3 then I don’t know what is.

Such a shame what happened to this game. Not only because of Capcom's perceived "lack of interest" for the game, but also because one of the most incredible voice talent this series has seen, Rob Smith (Teisel Bonne) was arrested for having illegal material on his computer. I nvr played MML2 but I think i will one day. But man, MML, I played that a lot when I was a kid. Was definitely an awesome game on the PS1. Absolute shame MML3 was kank'd.

Even Nintendo eventually brought Metroid back with Metroid Dread. I'm hoping Megaman Legends/Legends 2 get a proper sequel and well-earned return once Capcom get off their Resident Evil high. Strange that people criticized the camera in MML2 when they added improvements to the Lock-on system. You can now manually lock-on to enemies instead of auto lock-on.

Yea, there's definitely an opportunity there. So much can be added and improved and done for a proper sequel. Maybe they are working on it. Here's to hoping we see MML make a return

We were robbed, and robbed bad. I replay Megaman Legends once every few years, and it never, ever lost its' charm, even if time wasn't kind to its' controls. It's still a 10/10 game for me. Same is mostly true with its' sequel. I bought a 3DS specifically and only for Legends 3, and was bitterly disappointed beyond belief that Capcom cancelled it. It's definitely on my short list of sequels that will forever remain my white whale, along with Half-Life 3. I would have even settled for Red Ash, the supposed spiritual sequel, but that doesn't look like it's ever gonna happen either.

tronne bonne was POSITIVLY reviewed? EXSQUEEZE ME!? i have a copy and i tell you it was trash then and is trash now! when i went to GameStop to buy it all those years ago a brand new copy was sold to me for $20... and here's the kicker, the employee who sold it to me tried to convince me it wasn't worth even that. "its not like the first game, its REALLY bad". i played through it once, completed it even. and i repeat, it is trash.

@@GameCircleTv well, from personal experience at the time i can only say i knew no gamers or any one in person who had a positive thing to say of it. i played it myself, completed it back when it was relevant and i shall never do so again. it was that bad. i only keep my copy because of how valuable it is. and i have to believe it is only so because of its extremely poor sales. less than 62,000 in Japan and about 30,000 in North America. in fact, i seem to remember that only about 120,000 copies were sold world wide.

@@DJChaosD opinions tend to be subjective which is why i brought the facts. a game is generally thought to be well received/ successful when its breaks about 1 million in sales world wide. this one only sold about 120,000. making it objectively a failure/ not received well. I'm not trying to hate on you guys but yeah, numbers don't lie. this game sucked and the gaming community of the time knew it. if you want to play it I'd suggest either emulation or i think it is still available on the ps3 store for about $5. if you would like a physical copy well i would guess that less 100,000 copies still exist. and the last i checked ebay, they go for about $1,200 due to its rarity.
